Why Muslims rape

Closely observing the behaviour of Muslims, I have come to believe that the brain of Muslims lies in their penis. Every human has a divine side and the animal side. The purpose of human life is to evolve and manifest the spark of divinity that lies hidden within each one of us. Hindu spirituality — yoga, meditation, staying in solitude to focus inwards, the philosophy of the Gita and Upanishads, non-violence towards all creatures, vegetarianism, pursuit of knowledge — uplifts a man from the human stage towards divinity. He becomes non-violent and peaceful, keeps his own company, speaks less, and minds his own business, totally engrossed in tapa (deep meditation) to connect with the divine spark within. True Hindu sages become divine-like. The whole focus in Hindu philosophy is to control all the five senses and get rid of the urges of sex, lust, greed, violence, inertia — in short, the behaviour that animals exhibit. “Take us from darkness to light” is what Hindus pray to gods.

Islam, on the other hand, does the reverse — it makes humans regress towards the animal side and their reptilian brain takes over. The reptilian side of the brain is in charge of animal-like functions — predatory, law of the jungle, survival of the fittest, dominance of the animal urges of sex and violence, greed, lust, deception, cruelty, lack of intellect, no moral compass. The proof is everywhere throughout Muslim history — their extreme violence on others, deliberate killing of civilians in wars, capture of war booty, mass rape of women in wars, capture of women and children as sex slaves, extreme oppression and restrictions on women, the concept of “women of the right hand,” deception and lies to non-Muslims when in minority, their inability to invent anything or contribute to human advancement by generating new scientific knowledge, living in dirty, densely populated ghettos, slitting the necks of animals for celebratory “sacrifice,” unthinking obedience to clergy, imposition of tax (jaziya) on non-Muslims so that Muslims can live off other people’s earnings like slave masters … in short, they become human-looking animals, a deathly danger to the evolved humans. Just like a mad dog wants to bite a man for no reason, similarly, Muslims plot the destruction of non-Muslims for no apparent reason other than hate, greed and lust.

One of the most defining characteristics of Muslims is the sexual violence on women. This is something which starts from the fountainhead of Islam himself. Many other people have noticed this behaviour of Muslim men too. Here is a brilliant post someone made about the topic:

Why Muslims Rape

In Bangladesh in 2011, a 14 year-old girl, who was sexually assaulted by her 40 year-old cousin, received 100 lashes for her “adulterous” behavior. She did not survive her punishment for being a victim. Over the past decade, several hundred women have been flogged in Bangladesh under similar circumstances.

Flogging is the punishment for fornication in Islam, whether the woman had casual sex by choice outside of marriage or was raped. Without four male witnesses or the confession of the attacker, no rape case can be proven, according to Shariah law. So if the victim is “brazen” enough to report the crime, she is thus admitting to having sex, which in itself is a crime if the sex was not with her husband. And in normal circumstances, a rapist would not attack in front of any witnesses, unless they were also a part of the attack. Facing such dire punishments, it is highly probable that most Muslim women would not dare report these attacks, even if they need medical attention.

With such laws, it’s no surprise that rapes have become a part of Muslim culture. During the “Arab Spring” in Egypt, hundreds of women were raped in Tahrir Square by those Egyptians who were glorified in the West as “fighters against the cruel dictatorship of Mubarak” and who then voted for the Islamist Muhammad Mursi and made him the President of Egypt. Then, just 13 months later, those same Egyptians again crowded into Tahrir Square and enthusiastically supported the military coup against Mursi  “for democracy”–  and in just four days raped 130 more women on the way to that democracy.

In Darfur, rapes had become the  true Weapon of War, and the number of raped women and girls was in the thousands. The same happened in Bangladesh. Author Ibn Warraq’s  book, “Leaving Islam: Apostates Speak Out,” provides the testimony of Muhammad ben Abdullah whose reflections on the massacres committed in Bangladesh in 1971 give a glimpse into this Muslim world of rape. Both Ibn Warraq and Ben Abdullah are pseudonyms because speaking out against Islam, especially from an apostate, can be deadly. Ben Abdullah renounced Islam and became an apostate after seeing the crimes committed by Muslims in Bangladesh.

In every war, in every riot, in every social unrest, you see this behaviour of Muslims. They target women. This is still continuing in Syria and Egypt, two hotspots where Muslims are on the rampage currently. Al Jazeera reports:

Egypt’s sexual assault epidemic
Women at Egypt’s protests often must fight more than the political cause that brought them into the streets

It is the night of July 3, and on the streets of downtown Cairo thousands are celebrating the ousting of Egypt’s deposed president, Mohamed Morsi. But below ground, in the police booth of Tahrir Square’s metro station, Joanna Joseph is attempting to comfort a young girl.

She had been surrounded by dozens of men in the square, stripped and sexually assaulted. And now, on the request of her family, a medic is trying to conduct a virginity test on the floor of the police booth.

“I was shouting at the doctor not to touch the girl. The girl couldn’t even cope with hearing the crowds,” says Joseph, who is a volunteer with the Anti-Sexual Harassment Campaign (OpAntiSh), a grassroots organisation set up in November 2012, which sends teams of volunteers to protests to intervene in mob assaults. “The policeman said he had received four or five girls in this state every day,” she adds.

Since the 2011 uprising against Hosni Mubarak, then the Egyptian president, attacks like these have become an epidemic in Tahrir Square, the site of many of the protests. And in the week surrounding the ousting of Morsi, 150 such cases were reported. Many others, of course, go unreported. The level of violence involved is often extreme – in January, two teenage girls were raped with knives.

Thirty-year-old musician Yasmine el-Baramawy, who was attacked in Tahrir Square last November, describes the pattern: Men surround the woman, rip off her clothes and then perform manual rape, while an outer circle fends off anyone who might try to help her with sticks, blades and belts.

“They were taking photos of me and laughing,” Baramawy says. “They pinned me naked to the hood of a car and drove me around.”

As a rule, whenever a group of Muslim men get together somewhere, they take the characteristic of a blood-crazed wolf pack and begin plotting rapes, violence and general mayhem targetting women and non-Muslims. While a single Muslim may be relatively harmless, when the momins collect to form a group (such as when coming out of the mosques after hearing the Mullah’s sermon), the herd mentality and animal instincts take over and they form a pack for hunting women or infidels (infidel women are specially preferred).

So the hard lesson for infidels: Don’t allow Muslims to come together and form packs. Mosques are usually where they congregate and form such packs every Friday, and most rioting starts after they come running out of the mosques in a group, like deranged zombies. Since Muslims rely on group behaviour, I have often wondered how it will impact their mobilization against infidels if such groups are not allowed to be formed, such as by not allowing mosques to exist and forcing compulsory home worship.

For the survival of the universe creeds like Islam and Christianity have to go. That’s all.

        To all Hindu brothers,
Today is Shravan Poornima. It is an auspicious day for the Hindus. On this day the elder brother of Bhagvan Shri Krishna , Shri Balaram took birth. In Orissa it is observed with much gusto. The Hindus of Orissa on this day worship their cattle by paying obeisance to them. But westernization having taken its roots firmly in Orissa people of Orissa have more or less bidden adieu to the nature friendly traditional way of farming. Now the flagrant use of tractors for farming has rendered cattle useless. Also, organic fertilizers made from dung in the main having given way to expensive and hazardous chemical fertilizers cattle are now no more required by the ungrateful Oriyas. No wonder, cattle are driven to slaughter houses in thousands in the most inhuman manner daily in Orissa. I do not know what we will gain by letting our cattle to be killed like this. May be they are not required anymore. Though I am not a taker of such theory. In fact had it been in my hand I would have killed every such person involved in the slaughtering of the cattle. After all Our Vedas say so. HANTAKAYA GOGHATAKAM. Anyway, is it the way how we should treat the animal which feed her milk to us like a mother does to her baby? I do not know.

I convey my best wishes to all the Hindus on this auspicious day. Hope we all will start thinking seriously on the issue of cow. I am sorry for being off the subject.

        • @cnm
How divisive and hateful one can get! With one stroke of brush you paint ‘Oriyas’ ungrateful. Whose turn is next? May be the ‘Biharis’, may be the ‘Kanadas’. If ‘Oriyas’ are ungrateful for using tractors instead of cows and fertilizers instead of cow dung, then what about the rest of India? Are they still using this cow-technology? If not then why only poor ‘Odiyas’ are honoured with such a title as ‘ungrateful’? Don’t you see the cruelty in using this most docile of animals in farming, in transportation etc.? You fake cow-lover.
By the way why don’t ask for banning motor-car (borrowed from the west!) and go back to cow driven carts? At times I wonder are you really this dumb and naïve, or you just pretend to be one to keep us entertained.

            @cynical

I have addressed my above comment to all my Hindu brothers. You had no business to poke nose into that. But the problem with monotheists like you is that they cannot stay content with themselves. They will interfere with others affairs till the time they destroy them.(others) all together. I have raised the issue of Oriyas here because the context is about cow worship in Orissa on the occasion of Shravan Purnima. I am an Oriya and when I use the term “ungrateful” for Oriyas by implication I also use the same for me though I have deshi cows in my Goshala. However, in a broader perspective you can use the term “ungrateful” for Hindus. In a sense we Hindus are all responsible for the near extinction of cows in India. I know reasons like the secular govts’ anti-cow policy, shrinkage of Grazing lands, decreasing dividends from farming and many other such reasons have prompted us Hindus to abandon cows. But no reasons should be compelling enough to justify the heinous crime of Hindu’s abandoning cows. Can we ever ditch our parents under one excuse or the other? So how can we do that with cows?

“Don’t you see the cruelty in using this most docile of animals in farming, in transportation etc.? You fake cow-lover.”

Come on you Hypocrite, you Marxist scoundrel, you Darubaaz. Don’t you see the cruelty in driving the cattle for slaughter for 15 kilometers in a stretch without food and without water? Don’t you see how Dicolfenac Potasium is injected into the bodies of the cattle to carry them non-stop to the abattoir? Don’t you see the cruelty in which the cattle are butchered in the slaughterhouses? Don’t you see against such cruelties the cattle that are used in farming undergo no cruelty?

“By the way why don’t ask for banning motor-car (borrowed from the west!) and go back to cow driven carts?”

Why should I ban motor car ? I know if not today then tomorrow these cars will be sold 2 paise a kilo in scrap stores.I have never stopped the use of bullock carts.

Coming to the hazardous effects of tractors and chemical fertilizers in farming you bloody dunderheads read this article you have not forgotten the art of reading. It is written by Devinder Sharma, one of the top agricultural scientists of India.

Without Christian charity, brotherhood, love, mercy, and Grace, you would not have vaccinations, electricity, modern schooling, IIT, etc. You would have been fighting Maratha vs others; caste vs caste. Hinduism has taken away from Buddhist India the ability to form a functional state, legal system, or code of ethics. The strange advaita crap from Kerala has brainwashed over a billion people.

    • Indian Realist

I can’t bear to see women getting raped by Muslim thugs. The shrieks of women being raped in Kashmir, in Bangladesh, in Egypt, in Syria, in Pakistan, in Somalia, keep me awake at nights. But I am sure you would be snoring well, as usual.

      • @Indian Realist
I wish I could be snoring as well as I would like to. But the shrieks of women (even children) being raped 24 X 7 at every nook and corner of India villages and cities do not allow me to have such luxury. Hardly a day goes without a news/report of multiple rapes in the media. And add to it the rape of the women from the dalits, the tribals, the rape by police and military etc. Fortunately we know the identity of most of these rapists; they are out in the open thanks to free media. JAI HO FREE MEDIA. JAI HO.

        • Indian Realist

Those are secular rapes done with a criminal intent — they are not driven by religious indoctrination. We are taking about an entire class of people indoctrinated by religion and indulging in rape as a ritual in every country of the world wherever they exist cutting across race and time periods.

          • Cynical

So you are saying one group rape with religious sanctions, and the other group rape without it. Fine. Now tell me what difference it makes to the victim of rape? Are you telling me that her loss is any less when she is fortunate (?) to have been raped by those without a book in their hand, or head? How moronicc you can get

            • cnm

              @cynical
But dear, religion or no religion there will be rapes so lang as there are people with Tamasic dispositions. What religion read Hinduism(jianism,Sikhism and Buddhism), however, does is that it subdues and erases completely the animal instincts or Tamasic pravritis in man by making him divine. All these rapes and exploitation of women or any other evil acts are the results of the non-adherence of Hindu religious prescripts.

          • Cynical

If that is true then why not all Muslims rape? Come out of the world-view of a seven year old.

            • cnm

              @cyniacal

It is because thankfully all Muslims for various reasons can never follow the criminal teachings of Islam in letter and spirit. There is always exception to the rule.Take your example you are a Hindu by birth but thanks to the disease of atheism that you suffer you never follow Hinduism nay you shun and ridicule Hinduism. So even if you are a Hindu by reason of you being an atheist you are not a practicing Hindu. The sane is the case with Muslims. But the bottom line is a Muslim without the influence of Islam and a Hindu under the influence of Hinduism is as good and civilized as any man.

            • jo

Child marriages are allowed for Muslims in India by law or what? How come NGO’s never address these issues, if government interferes with the operation of temples, why are they so lax on madrasahs where things like child marriages are taught? Should they not be monitored for national security or is the government scared of these folk but only preys on and interferes with the operation of Hindu temples and picks on Hindus. Why are there different civil laws for Muslims in a democracy, what makes them a special category?
Why can’t the same laws apply to their madrasahs and mosques and to their civil society, as is applied to the rest of Indians?

Child Marriage: 79% of the girls in the district are married when they are still in their adolescent, in most cases below the age of 16 years in Murshidabad .

The silent persecution of Hindus in Hindu-majority West Bengal has been carefully hidden from the rest of the state and the country by the Marxist government in saddle for the last twenty-four years (they have just got a fresh lease of life in the 2001 elections). This persecution takes place in the Muslim majority areas contiguous to Bangladesh in the District of Murshidabad, and is at its most virulent in the regions of Hariharpara, Domkal, Raninagar, Sagarpara, Sheikhpara, Beldanga, Naoda, Bhagabangola, and Jalangi – in fact all over the part of the district which lies to the east of the Bhagirathi River, with the exception of Berhampur Town. Just one feature of the insecurity from which the Hindus of this region suffer may be mentioned. Very few – practically none – of the Hindus in the region will keep their daughters or sisters at home after they have turned, say, eleven. They are all sent away to live with relatives or in a hostel, in Berhampur (the district headquarters), or somewhere to the west of the Bhagirathi River, or if their parents can afford it, to Calcutta.
SO,NOT JAI HO FREE MEDIA. NOT JAI HO.

You are very dumb, typical of secularists.
Indian Realist was highlighting the fact that rape is considered
a religious ritual among Muslims. It is sanctioned in their faith.

When Muslims rape non-Muslim women, it is because Islam teaches
that. They are following what their pedophile of a prophet taught
      and did.

Cynical will invariably resort to the hoax of “rapes by Hindus’ once you raise the issue of the role of Islam in the promotion of rapes of Kafirs by Muslims. Though it is a different matter he will ( in fact he can never cite)never cite any verses from the Hindu scriptures that glorify rapes. And if you persist in your stand and ask him to produce evidence proving that Hinduism promotes rape the way Islam does, he will run away though not before hurling Marxist swear words at you. He is third rate escapist.

Sahih al-Bukhari 4138 – Narrated Ibn Muhairiz: I entered the mosque and saw Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri and sat beside him and asked him about Al-Azl (i.e., coitus interruptus). Abu Sa’id said, “We went out with Allah’s Messenger for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq, and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So, when we intended to do coitus interruptus, we said, ‘How can we do coitus interruptus without asking Allah’s Messenger while he is present among us?’ We asked (him) about it and he said, ‘IT IS BETTER FOR YOU NOT TO DO SO’. There is no person that is destined to exist, but will come to existence, till the Day of Resurrection.

  4. The voiceofdharma.org website has many books on this subject. Islam claims many saints of a high order within their fold. What is most puzzling is that not one of them has been seen or heard to do anything about these internal lacunae or attempt a different interpretation. The conception that “jihad is an internal fight” is wholly Indian with people like S.Radhakrishnan taking this stance.Aside from Ibn Warraq,Ali Sina & numerous others, there is the (late) intrepid Anwar Shaikh.
On the vijayvaani website, I came across George Thundiparambil who critically re-examines Xtianity after living abroad and reaches the same conclusion: basically adharma.

A program began in the Tihar jail for the benefit of inmates. Immediately, a group of muslim inmates began to vociferously oppose and stop the sessions everyday.A week passed with no success. On the last day, the practitioner went into a meditative state and asked for guidance. That day, the muslim group broke down and cried. “We do not know any other way !” they said.

    “why Muslims rape?”
then why do I see Hindu priests caught in rape cases and sex scandals. its because these Hindu priests are very well versed in their scripture which allows a upper caste man to have sex and even rape any women, practices like niyoga, KAMA SUTRA, Vedas praising the rape of ahalya by Vedic god indra will be dangerous to society. I do not know how Hindus could be this courageous in attacking other’s faith having their religion so shameless. in the Vedas we see innocent people are killed just to gain cows (cattle were the wealth in those days)

Rig Veda 6.26.2 The warrior, son of warrior sire, invokes thee, to gain great strength that may be won as booty: To thee, the brave man’s Lord, the fiends’ subduer, he looks when fighting hand to hand for cattle

even the poor low caste Hindus can’t own property
Rig Veda 3.53.14 O Indra, what do the cows make for you among the Kikatas. They neither yield milk for your offerings, nor do they warm the vessel of libation. Bring to us these cows, bring to us also the wealth of Pramagand (their King). O Brave one, grant us the possessions of the people of low status.

Do you think that we are going to trust in Zakir Naik’s understanding of Hindu scriptures,or Agniveer’s. You know this is not going to stop. If you are intelligent, you will stop and move away. You people are having a running battle with Agniveer, I think you should direct your faulty interpretations of the Vedic scriptures to them, or else we could go on for months copying and pasting. To your references, 6.26:2 means nothing at all even if you take Griffith’s translation, and for the other here you have the answer

@Myth 4: Vedas have selfish prayers
Vedas have nothing but selfish prayers. For example, Rigveda 3.53.14 calls for looting people of other countries.

      Reality:
      1. Another shameless act of fraud. Am getting tired and bored countering such stupid allegations now. Perhaps we deserve more intellectual haters.
      2. When it has been clearly established that Anarya means terrorist and the ‘allegators’ have themselves given reference from Nirukta and Swami Dayanand (I am not sure of later source), where is the confusion?
The mantras prays that Cows that give milk and sources of prosperity have no utility in places where terrorists thrive. They be better put to use for prosperity of noble people.
      3. In other words, if Al-Qaeda or Maoists have lots of weapons and wealth, these better come to peaceful people than stay with them. This means that the country should adopt policies that ensure that wealth goes to deserving people and not criminals and terrorists. It is on basis of such mantra that all civilized nations put strict control and security on distribution of currency and critical resources.
      4. Vedas also have prayers that call for reformation of terrorists into civilized beings. Refer Rigveda 6.22.10 that states that ‘Daas should be made ‘Arya’. How could it be possible if these were to denote races or specific geographies?
Hence, the whole allegation is as baseless as chair without legs.

@cnm, here is what Islam says about rape,

In our view the man who rapes a woman, regardless of whether she is a virgin or not, if she is a free woman he must pay a “dowry” like that of her peers, and if she is a slave he must pay whatever has been detracted from her value. The punishment is to be carried out on the rapist and there is no punishment for the woman who has been raped, whatever the case. (Imam Maalik, Al-Muwatta’, Volume 2, page 734)

Quran 17:32 Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).

Quran 24:32 marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among your slaves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.

unlike hinduism, Islam does not permit adultery and having illicit relationship,

women are taken as booty in hinduism
Manu Smriti 7.96 Chariots and horses, elephants, parasols, money, grain, cattle, women, all sorts of (marketable) goods and valueless metals belong to him who takes them (singly) conquering (the possessor).

Rig Veda 8:19:36 A gift of fifty female slaves hath Trasadasyu given me, Purukutsa’s son, Most liberal, kind, lord of the brave.

A brahmin becomes husband of all women (so he may enjoy sex with anyone)

Atharva Veda 5.17.8 Even if ten former husbands none a Brahman had espoused a dame, And then a Brahman took her hand, he is her husband, only he…
Manu 3.14 A Brahmin male by virtue of his birth becomes the first husband of all women in the universe.

Brahmavaivarta Purana 4:47:11-45 Indra raped Ahalya and was cursed by her husband, the sage Gautama, to lose all his prosperity ….

Satyarth Prakash pg 130 …Those, however, who cannot control their passions may beget children by having recourse to Niyoga.

      I forgot this to mention
“If a man acquires by force a slave-girl, then has sexual intercourse with her after he acquires her by force, and if he is not excused by ignorance, then the slave-girl will be taken from him, he is required to pay the fine, and he will receive the punishment for illegal sexual intercourse.” (Imam Al Shaafi’i, Kitaabul Umm, Volume 3, page 253)

      • Shlok

@An, look yóu don’t need to explain to us what your scriptures contain. Please check http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Main_Page

As a gesture of goodwill, I am not copying and pasting the entire site. You stop it here, we stop it at the same time.

Otherwise, it is a never ending story. You raised some nonsense points about the Vedas, I am sending you the link of your scriptures, which has not even been written by Hindus. As I said this is not the correct forum to dump your Zakir Naik’s fantasies. You better do it with Agniveer, Ali Sina, or others.

    • Shlok

@An, you saý ‘In our view the man who rapes a woman, regardless of whether she is a virgin or not, if she is a free woman he must pay a “dowry” like that of her peers, and if she is a slave he must pay whatever has been detracted from her value. The punishment is to be carried out on the rapist and there is no punishment for the woman who has been raped, whatever the case. (Imam Maalik, Al-Muwatta’, Volume 2, page 734)’ In another post I had mentioned how a Saudi cleric raped and killed his own 5 year old daugther, because he was not sure about her virginity, and for this he was set free. Of course, he had to pay blood money to the mother of his daughter, one among his many wives. But that’s it. Probably that is what you call Islamic justice?

    • Shlok

@An, and also read this Rig Veda 8:19:36 http://obharat.blogspot.hk/2012/05/zakir-naik-claims-polygamy-in-hinduism.html

      Atharva Veda 5.17.8
But a fallen woman even if she has been exploited by tens of men, finally gets accepted in a proper marriage to a good virtuous man, she is rehabilitated as being married to one man.

And besides giving stray passages from here and there without the proper context will get you nowhere sir. Please read the kind of respect that women commanded in ancient Bharat:

      Woman and Yajna

Rigveda 1.146.3: The Yajamaan (performer of Yajna) and his wife are two cows and the fire of Yajna is the calf.

Rigveda 1.72.5: Scholars perform Yajna with their wives and achieve bliss.

Rigveda 2.6.5: If mother and sister perform Yajna together, that brings bliss.

Rigveda 7.1.6: The young woman approaches the fire with Havi

Atharvaveda 3.28.6: O wife, you have entered the world of Yajna.

Atharvaveda 3.30.6: All the members of family should perform Yajna.

Atharvaveda 14.2.18: O woman, you should perform Yajna in Grihastha Ashram.

Atharvaveda 14.2.25: O woman, perform Yajna with bliss.

Further, there is NOT ONE SINGLE mantra in entire Vedas that prohibit Yajna for women.

Please note that Yajna here does not mean merely Agnihotra or Havan, but all kinds of noble deeds. Vedas simply do not differentiate on basis of gender or birth for conduct of any noble deed.

And when women can do Yajna, what stops her from reciting Vedic Mantras!

The restriction of women from Vedas or Yajna is an innovation of medieval age whose only contribution to our society has been disaster and slavery.

Rigveda 6.44.18: The government should ensure that all boys and girls get good education, follow Brahmacharya and strengthen the society.

Yajurveda 10.7: Government should put special efforts to make all women into scholars.

Rigveda 3.1.23: Smart people should ensure that all boys and girls become scholars.

Rigveda 2.41.16: All girls should receive education from scholarly women.

Yajurveda 11.36: Parents should ensure good education of children – boys and girls – and then send them to scholars for a long period so that their enlighten the families and nation like sun.

Rigveda 1.152.6: The way mother nourishes her children with milk, scholars should nourish girls and boys with knowledge.

Yajurveda 6.14: Teachers should ensure that they inculcate noble qualities in their students (girls and boys) through dissemination of knowledge of Vedas.

Rigveda 2.41.17: All scholars should instruct their scholarly wives to educate all girls.

Yajurveda 34.40: The way dawn brings happiness among human beings, scholarly woman should bring happiness by educating girls.

Yajurveda 20.85: Scholarly woman should ensure that she educates other women and makes them also scholars.

Rigveda 1.117.24: Teachers should ensure that they train boys and girls with highest levels of noble values and educate them and then return them to their respective parents.

Rigveda 1.164.41: The woman who masters and teaches all the Vedas brings bliss in entire society.

Rigveda 7.40.7: Scholarly woman that possess noble qualities should educate all women and bring happiness everywhere.

      Potentials of an educated woman

An educated woman can make her society a world power. She can change the course of history. She is Saraswati. Here is what Vedas have to say about an educated woman.

Yajurveda 20.84: The scholarly woman purifies our lives with her intellect. Through her actions, she purifies our actions. Through her knowledge and action, she promotes virtue and efficient management of society.

Yajurveda 20.85: Scholarly woman inspires us towards knowledge. She promotes conduct of noble acts in society.

Yajurveda 20.86: Scholarly woman rushes an exhilaration within us that comes only through knowledge. She enlightens our knowledge, applications and actions.

Rigveda 1.164.49: O scholarly woman, your knowledge provides us peace and bliss. You lead us to inculcate noble virtues. You provide us prosperity through your knowledge. May we obey your inspiration that you provide as a mother. A scholarly woman is mother of entire society.

Rigveda 2.41.16: O provider of great knowledge, O my mother through the nourishment of knowledge that you have provided, our life is scattered without you. Please provide us direction.

Rigveda 2.41.17: A scholarly woman, the entire life of society depends upon you. You provide us the right knowledge. May you bring knowledge to all segments of society.

Rigveda 6.49.7: O scholarly woman, you purify our character. You have noble characteristics. You conduct noble actions. You have noble habits. We bow to your greatness that provides bliss to all.

Rigveda 6.61.2: O scholarly woman, the way a river breaks away mightiest of hills and rocks, the scholarly woman destroys myths and hypes through her intellect alone. May we bow to women through our polite words and noble actions.

Rigveda 6.61.3: O scholarly woman, destroy the evil inside us through your knowledge and character. Gift us with knowledge of Vedas. O performer of noble actions, you provide us stream of knowledge in same manner as a river provides stream of water.

Rigveda 7.96.3: O scholarly noble woman brings only happiness in society. She makes us knowledgeable and alert. She guides us like the mantras in Yajna and teaches us use of everything in world.

Rigveda 10.17.7: Those who desire the society to become noble and powerful, they respect woman and please her. Those who desire virtues respect woman and please her. Those who respect woman obtain bliss, knowledge and happiness.

Atharvaveda 7.57.1: Whenever I am hurt by meanness of world or misunderstanding with others, a scholarly woman heals my wounds. (Because women possess the soft skills and emotional intelligence that is not naturally and easily available to men.)

May Ishwar, inspire the women of our nation and world to be examples of Vedic women. And may our society put woman and her respect at highest pedestal so that we become lighthouse of entire world.

I think after Shlok’s comprehensive and fitting responses there is any need on my part to refute your garbage. Anyway just one question— why have you not supplied the source from which you have taken these translations both Hindu scriptures and koran? Do not tell me that you have done the translations yourself.

  11. An’s posts are classic case of devil quoting scriptures. Shlok’s responses are exhaustive and fitting. Wonderful, at the same time, logical. Keep it up, Shlok.

  12. Cynical

    @Indian Realist:
Closely observing the behaviour of Muslims, I have come to believe that the brain of Muslims lies in their penis.
Your knowledge of human anatomy is Nobel worthy. But if you think a bit longer and deeper, you will be surprised to realize that it may not be as bad as you think it is. Brain resides inside the head, and head is the most holy part of human body, as every VHP and ISI (Indian version, not the Pakistani one) certified Hindu knows i.e. where the Brahmins come from. Penis by its location in the human frame is Vaishya. So having one’s brain inside his penis would ensure that all the thoughts, decisions and actions of the penis will be guided by the brain. That’s as good as a Brahmin guiding the Vaishya/Baniya as it is supposed to be. So this penis will be blessed with the knowledge of ‘Bramha’, the mother of all knowledge. Blessed are those women raped under ‘Brahmic’ wisdom.
Now look at the opposite, when the Hindus rape. From Mr. Indra ( remember rishi Gautam and his wife?) to Baba Asaram and many worthies in between, had their penis inside their brains. Nothing, repeat nothing, can be more sacrilegious than this. Imagine a Vaishya/Baniya guiding a Brahmin’s thought process, telling him what to do; and what do you expect from such an anatomical disaster. A penis is capable of doing only two things, it either urinates or it f**ks. In such an eventuality the head either urinates or it f**ks. This explains why we Hindus consider ‘urine’ as a health drink and worship ‘lingam’.
This ancient (Sanatan) dharmic tradition (of having one’s penis inside his brain) is still in full force in this ancient land from Kashmir to Kanyakumarika, and from Gujarat to North-East. Our deeply religious Armed Sipahis, ever vigilant police forces, village heads (of right caste), computer savvy net literates, real estate dalals and even our ever so innocent children in schools and colleges are all together in our struggle in keeping this glorious tradition alive for next 5,000 years (at least). As true and certified Hindus we owe it to our forefathers. Those who think that I am unduly optimistic, may please try the following link,

      @ cynical

So, in your eyes Asharam is a rapist even though the court is yet to pass a verdict on that. But I still remember that when in one of my posts I raised the unassailable fact that Sonia Gandhi is neck deep in corruption besides being a curse for this Hindu land, a shiver went down your spine and within no time you jumped to her defence by claiming that no court has passed any any judgment to that effect so no question of her being corrupt. Similarly, when on the basis of Arun Shourie’s book Eminent Historians” I mentioned that leftist historians are all corrupt people, you took no time to point out that mere charges are of no use if a court of law has not passed a verdict holding them guilty. Now all of a sudden you have ditched this principle of yours. Why ? Is it because Asharam is an abominable Hindu?

      • Indian Realist

An allegation is enough to prove guilt in the case of a Hindu, but even exoneration by the Supreme Court-appointed SIT is not enough to prove the innocence of Modi. These are the double standards of monotheists and their rabid Hindu supporters who call themselves as “liberals.”

      @Cynical
      Islam:as per holy book
      Surah 2: ayat 193.
Fight against them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme.

      Surah 8: ayat 39.
Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah’s religion reigns supreme.

      Surah 2: ayat 216.
Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it. But you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and love a thing although it is bad for you. Allah knows, but you do not.

      Surah 9: ayat 41.
Whether unarmed or well-equipped, march on and fight for the cause of Allah, with your wealth and your persons. This will be best for you, if you but knew it,

      Surah 9: ayat 123.
Believers! make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Let them find harshness in you.

      Surah 66: ayat 9.
O Prophet! make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate.

      Surah 9: ayat 73.
O Prophet! Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites. Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is Hell, a hapless journey’s end.

      Surah 8: ayat 65.
O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding.

      Surah 8: ayat 66.
Now bath Allah lightened your burden, for He knoweth that there is weakness in you. So if there be of you a steadfast hundred they shall vanquish two hundred, and if there be of you a thousand steadfast they shall vanquish two thousand by permission of Allah. Allah is with the steadfast.

      Surah 47: ayats 4-15.
When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. Then grant them their freedom or take ransom from them, until war shall lay down her armour. Thus shall you do. Had Allah willed, He could Himself have punished them (without your help); but He has ordained it thus that He might test you, the one by the other. As for those who are slain in the cause of Allah, He will not allow their works to perish. He will vouchsafe them guidance and ennoble their state; He will admit them to the Paradise He has made known to them.

Believers! if you help Allah, Allah will help you and make you strong. But the unbelievers shall be consigned to perdition. He will bring their deeds to nothing. Because they have opposed His revelations, He will frustrate their works… Allah is the protector of the faithful; unbelievers have no protector. Allah will admit those who embrace the true faith to gardens watered by running streams. The unbelievers take their full of pleasure and eat as the beasts eat; but Hell shall be their home… They shall abide in Hell for ever and drink scalding water which will tear their bowels.

      Surah 8: ayat 12.
I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, maim them in every limb.

      Surah 69: ayats 30-33.
We shall say, ‘Lay hold of him and bind him. Bum him in the fire of Hell, then fasten him with a chain seventy cubits long. For he did not believe in Allah, the Most High.

      Surah 8: ayats 15-18.
Believers! when you encounter the armies of the infidels do not turn your backs to them in flight. If anyone on that day turns his back to them, except it be for tactical reasons, or to join another band, he shall incur the wrath of Allah and Hell shall be his home: an evil fate.

It was not you, but Allah, who slew them. It was not you who smote them; Allah smote them so that He might richly reward the faithful. He hears all and knows all. He will surely thwart the designs of the unbelievers.

      Surah 25: ayat 52.
Do not yield to the unbelievers, but fight them strenuously with this Koran.

      Surah 9: ayat 39.
If you do not fight He will punish you sternly and replace you by other men…

      Surah 9: ayat 111.
Allah has purchased of the faithful their lives and worldly goods and in return has promised them the Garden. They will fight for His cause, slay and be slain. Such is the true pledge which He has made them in the Torah, the Gospel and the Koran. And who is more true to His promise than Allah? Rejoice then in the bargain you have made. That is the supreme triumph.

      Surah 3: ayats 169-171.
You must not think that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead. They are alive, and well provided for by their Lord; pleased with His gifts and rejoicing that those whom they left behind and who have not yet joined them have nothing to fear or to regret; rejoicing in Allah’s grace and bounty. Allah will not deny the faithful their reward.

      Surah 4: ayat 100.
He that flies his homeland for the cause of Allah shall find numerous places of refuge in the land and great abundance. He that leaves his dwelling to fight for Allah and His apostle and is then overtaken by death, shall be rewarded by Allah. Allah is forgiving and merciful.

      Surah 48: ayat 29.
Muhammad is Allah’s apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another… Through them Allah seeks to enrage the unbelievers.

      Surah 49: ayat 15.
The true believers are those that have faith in Allah and His apostle and never doubt; and who fight for His cause with their wealth and persons. Such are those whose faith is true.

      Surah 2: ayat 154.
Do not say that those who were slain in the cause of Allah are dead; they are alive, although you are not aware of them.

      Surah 3: ayats 157-158.
If you should die or be slain in the cause of Allah, His forgiveness and His mercy would surely be better than all the riches they amass. If you should die or be slain, before Him you shall all be gathered.

      Surah 8: ayats 59-60.
Let the unbelievers not think that they will escape Us. They have not the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your disposal, so that you may strike terror into the enemies of Allah and the faithful, and others besides them. All that you give for the cause of Allah shall be repaid you. You shall not be wronged.

      Surah 9: ayats 2-3.
…Allah will humble the unbelievers… Allah and His apostle are free from obligation to the idol-worshippers… Proclaim a woeful punishment to the unbelievers.

      Surah 9: ayat 29.
Fight against such of those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe neither in Allah nor the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His apostle have forbidden, and do not embrace the true faith, until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued.

      Surah 8: ayat 67.
It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he has made slaughter in the land…

      Surah 4: ayat 84.
So fight for the cause of Allah. You are accountable for none but yourself. Rouse the faithful; perchance Allah will defeat the unbelievers. He is mightier and more truculent than they.

      Surah 29: ayat 6.
He that fights for Allah’s cause fights for himself…

      Surah 29: ayat 69.
Those that fight for Our cause We will surely guide to our own paths. Allah is with the righteous.

      Surah 61: ayats 9-13.
It is He who has sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, so that He may make it the conqueror of all religions, much as the idol-worshippers may dislike it.

Believers! Shall I point out to you a profitable course that will save you from a woeful scourge? Have faith in Allah and His apostle and fight for His cause with your wealth and your persons. That would be best for you, if you but knew it. He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens watered by running streams; He will lodge you in pleasant mansions in the gardens of Eden. That is the supreme triumph.

      Surah 9: ayat 36.
Allah ordained the months twelve in number when He created the Heavens and the earth. Of these four (Dhi-Qa’ada, Dhul-Hajja, Muharram and Rajab) are sacred according to the true faith. Therefore do not sin against yourselves by violating them. But you may fight against the idolaters in all these months since they themselves fight against you in all of them. Know that Allah is with the righteous.

      Surah 9: ayat 5.
When the sacred months are over slay the idol-worshippers wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and pay the alms-tax, let them go their way. Allah is forgiving and merciful.

      Surah 9: ayat 14.
Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them, and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.

      Surah 9: ayats 20-22.
Those that have embraced the faith and fled their homes and fought for Allah’s cause with their wealth and their persons are held in higher regard by Allah. It is they who shall triumph. Their Lord has promised them joy and mercy, and gardens of eternal pleasures where they shall dwell for ever. Allah’s reward is great indeed.

      Surah 4: ayats 95-96.
The believers who stay at home – apart from those that suffer from a grave impediment – are not equal to those -who fight for the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah has given those that fight with their goods and their persons a higher rank than those who stay at home. He has promised all a good reward: but far richer is the recompense of those who fight for Him: rank of His own bestowal, forgiveness, and mercy. Allah is forgiving and merciful.

      Surah 8: ayats 72-74.
Those that have embraced the faith and fled their homes, fought for the cause of Allah with their wealth and their persons; and those that sheltered them and helped them, shall be friends to each other… they are the true believers. They shall receive mercy and generous provision.

      Surah 3: ayat 142.
Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise before Allah has proved the men who fought for Him and endured with fortitude?

      ANNEXURE‘B’

Sayings of ‘Koran’ which Promote, on Grounds of Religion,
Feeling of Enmity, Hatred and Ill-Will between different
      Religious Communities in India

      Surah 4: ayat 101.
It is not offence for you to shorten your prayers when travelling the road if you fear that the unbelievers may attack you. The unbelievers are your sworn enemies.

      Surah 60: ayat 4.
…We renounce you (i.e. the idolaters): enmity and hate shall reign between us until you believe in Allah only…

      Surah 58: ayat 23.
You shall find no believers in Allah and the Last Day on friendly terms with those who oppose Allah and His apostle, even though they be their fathers, their sons, their brothers, or their nearest kindred…

      Surah 9: ayat 7.
Allah and His apostle repose no trust in idolaters…

      Surah 8: ayats 13-14.
Thus We punished them because they defied Allah and His apostle. He that defies Allah and His apostle shall be sternly punished. We said to them, ‘Feel Our scourge. Hell-fire awaits the unbelievers.’

      Surah 8: ayat 55.
The basest creatures in the sight of Allah are the faithless who will not believe…

      Surah 25: ayat 55.
Yet the unbelievers worship idols which can neither help nor harm them. Surely the unbeliever is his Lord’s enemy.

      Surah 5: ayat 72.
…He that worships other Gods besides Allah shall be forbidden Paradise and shall be cast into the fire of Hell. None shall help the evil-doers.

      Surah 9: ayat 23.
Believers! do not befriend your fathers or your brothers if they choose unbelief in preference to faith. Wrong-doers are those that befriend them.

      Surah 9: ayat 28.
Believers! know that the idolaters are unclean…

      Surah 3: ayat 28.
Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful; he that does this has nothing to hope for from Allah – except in self-defence. Allah admonishes you to fear Him; for to Him you shall all return.

      Surah 3: ayat 118.
Believers! do not make friends with any men other than your own people. They will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is clear from what they say, but more violent is the hatred which their breasts conceal…

      Surah 4 ayat 144.
Believers! do not choose the infidels rather than the faithful for your friends. Would you give Allah a clear proof against yourselves?

      Surah 5: ayat 14.
…Therefore, We stirred among them (i.e. the Christians) enmity and hatred, which shall endure till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will declare to them all that they have done.

      Surah 5: ayat 64.
…That which Allah has revealed to you will surely increase the wickedness and unbelief of many of them (i.e. the Jews). We have stirred among them (i.e. the Jews) enmity and hatred, which will endure till the Day of Resurrection…

      Surah 5: ayat 18.
The Jews and the Christians say, ‘We are the children of Allah and His loved ones.’ Say: ‘Why then does He punish you for your sins?’…

      Surah 5: ayat 51.
Believers! take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number. Allah does not guide the wrong-doers.

      ANNEXURE‘C’

Sayings of ‘Koran’ which Insult other Religions as also the
Religious Beliefs of other Communities in India

      Surah 5: ayat 17.
Unbelievers are those who declare: ‘Allah is the Messiah (i.e. Christ), the son of Mary.’ Say: ‘Who could prevent Allah from destroying the Messiah (i.e. Christ), the son of Mary, together with his mother and all the people of the earth?’…

      Surah 4: ayat 157.
They denied the truth and uttered a monstrous falsehood against Mary. They declared: ‘We have put to death the Messiah Jesus, the son of Mary, the apostle of Allah.’ They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but they thought they did.

      Surah 5: ayats 116-118.
Then Allah will say, ‘Jesus, son of Mary, did you ever say to mankind: “Worship me and my mother as Gods beside Allah?’ ‘Glory to You,’ he will answer, ‘how could I say that to which I have no right? If I had ever said so, You would have surely known it. You know what is in my mind, but I cannot tell what is in Yours. You alone know what is hidden. I spoke to them of nothing except what You bade me. I said, “Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” I watched over them whilst living in their midst, and ever since You took me to You, You Yourself have been watching over them. You are the witness of all things. They are Your own bondsmen: it is for You to punish or to forgive them. You are the Mighty, the Wise one.’

      Surah 98: ayat 6.
The unbelievers among the people of the Book (i.e. Christians and Jews) and the pagans shall bum for ever in the fire of Hell. They are the vilest of all creatures.

      Surah 68: ayats 8-13.
Give no heed to the disbelievers: they desire you to overlook their doings that they may overlook yours. Nor yield to the wretch of many oaths, the mischief-making slanderer, the opponent of good, the wicked transgressor, the bully who is of doubtful birth to boot.

      Surah 38: ayats 55-57.
…But doleful shall be the return of the transgressors. They shall bum in the fire of Hell, a dismal resting-place. There let them taste their drink: scalding water, festering blood and other putrid things.

      Surah 22: ayats 19-21.
…Garments of fire have been prepared for unbelievers. Scalding water shall be poured upon their heads, melting their skins and that which is in their bellies. They shall be lashed with red iron.

      Surah 22: ayats 56-57.
…Those that have embraced the true faith and done good works shall enter the gardens of delight, but the unbelievers who have denied Our revelations shall receive an ignominious punishment.

      Surah 5: ayats 36.
As for the unbelievers, if they offered all that the earth contains and as much besides to redeem themselves from the torment of the Day of Resurrection it shall not be accepted from them. Theirs shall be a woeful punishment.

      Surah 15: ayats 2.
The day will surely come when the unbelievers will wish that they were Muslims.

      Surah 72: ayats 14-15.
Some of us are Muslims and some are wrong-doers. Those that embrace Islam pursue the right path; but those that do wrong (of not embracing Islam) shall become the fuel of fire.

      Surah 41: ayat 33.
And who speaks better than he who calls others to the service of Allah, does what is right, and says: ‘I am a Muslim?’

      Surah: 4 ayat 125.
And who has a nobler religion than the man who surrenders himself to Allah?…

      Surah 25: ayats 27-29.
On that day the wrong-doer will bite his hands and say, ‘Would that I had walked in the Apostle’s path. Oh, would that I had never chosen so-and-so for my companion: It was he that made me disbelieve in Allah’s warning after it had reached me.’ Satan is ever treacherous to man.

      Surah 26: ayats 96-99.
“By Allah”, they will say to their idols, as they contend with them, “we erred indeed when we made you equals with the Lord of the Creation. It was the evil-doers who led us astray.”

      Surah 3: ayat 85.
He that chooses a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the world to come he will be one of the lost.

      Surah 8: ayat 38.
Tell the unbelievers that if they mend their ways (i.e. embrace Islam) their past shall be forgiven: but if they persist in sin (i.e. idol-worshipping) let them reflect upon the fate of their forefathers.

      Surah 31: ayat 13.
Luqman admonished his son. ‘My son’, he said, ‘serve no other God instead of Allah, for idolatry is an abominable sin.’

      Surah 29: ayats 41-42.
The false Gods which the idolaters serve besides Allah may be compared to the spider’s cobweb. Surely, the spider’s is the frailest of all dwellings, if they but know it. Allah knows what they invoke besides Him; He is the Mighty, the Wise one.

      Surah 37: ayats 22-25.
But We shall say: ‘Call the sinners, their wives, and the idols which they worshipped besides Allah and lead them to the path of Hell. Keep them there for questioning – But what has come over you that you cannot help one another?’

      Surah 37: ayats 26-32.
On that day they will all submit to Allah. They will reproach each other, saying: ‘You have imposed upon us. It was you who would not be believers. We had no power over ‘ you; you were sinners all. Just is the verdict which our Lord has passed upon us, we shall surely taste His punishment. We misled you, but we ourselves have been misled.’

      Surah 25: ayats 17-19.
On that day when He assembles them with all their idols, He will say: ‘Was it you who misled My servants, or did they wilfully go astray?’ They will answer: ‘Allah forbid that we should choose other guardians besides You. You gave them and their fathers the good things of life, so that they forgot Your warnings and thus incurred destruction.’ Then to the idolaters Allah will say: ‘Your idols have denied your charges. They cannot avert your doom, nor can they help you. Those of you who have done wrong shall be sternly punished.’

      Surah 7: ayat 173.
‘Our forefathers were indeed, idolaters; but will You destroy us, their descendants, on account of what the followers of falsehood did?’

      Surah 21: ayats 66-67.
He (Abraham) answered: ‘Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you? Shame on you and on your idols: Have you no sense?’

      Surah 21: ayats 98-100.
You and all your idols shall be the fuel of Hell: therein you shall all go down. Were they true Gods, yours idols would not go there: but in it they shall abide for ever. They shall groan with pain and be bereft of hearing.

      Surah 16: ayats 20-21.
But the false Gods which infidels invoke create nothing: they are themselves created. They are dead, not living, nor do they know when they will be raised to life.

      Surah 6: ayats 22-23.
On that day when We gather them all together We shall say to the idolaters: ‘Where are your idols now, those whom you supposed to be your Gods?’ They will not argue, but will say: ‘By Allah, our Lord, we have never worshipped idols.’

      Surah 6: ayats 40-41.
Say: ‘When Allah’s scourge smites you and the Hour of Doom suddenly overtakes you, will you call on any but Allah to help you? Answer me, if you are men of truth: No, on Him alone you will call; and if He please, He will relieve your affliction. Then you will forget your idols.’

      Surah 6: ayat 148:
…The idolaters will say: “Had Allah pleased neither we nor our fathers would have served other Gods besides Him.’…

      Surah 2: ayat 221.
You shall not wed pagan women, unless they embrace the faith. A believing slave-girl is better than an idolatress, although she may please you. Nor shall you wed idolaters unless they embrace the faith. A believing slave is better than an idolater, although he may please you. These call you to Hell-fire, but Allah calls you, by His will, to paradise and to forgiveness. He makes plain His revelations to mankind, so that they may take heed.

      Surah 24: ayat 3.
The adulterer may marry only an adulteress or an idolatress; and adulteress may marry only an adulterer or an idolater. True believers are forbidden such marriages.

The mainly secular effort to reinterpret the Koran—in part based on textual evidence such as that provided by the Yemeni fragments—is disturbing and offensive to many Muslims, just as attempts to reinterpret the Bible and the life of Jesus are disturbing and offensive to many conservative Christians. Nevertheless, there are scholars, Muslims among them, who feel that such an effort, which amounts essentially to placing the Koran in history, will provide fuel for an Islamic revival of sorts—a reappropriation of tradition, a going forward by looking back. Thus far confined to scholarly argument, this sort of thinking can be nonetheless very powerful and—as the histories of the Renaissance and the Reformation demonstrate—can lead to major social change. The Koran, after all, is currently the world’s most ideologically influential text.

prosper wealth but how? its through dowry, none of the verses you qouted shows respect for women, and most of these translations are wrong, for example Rig Veda 3.31.1, it does not say that a women should inherit equal wealth, here is the hindi translation

Rig Veda 3.31.1. WISE, teaching, following the thought of Order, the sonless gained a grandson from his daughter. Fain, as a sire, to see his child prolific, he sped to meet her with an eager spirit.

all those translations you qouted here are used to fool innocent hindus, have a look at what vedas say about inheritance

Krishna Yajur Veda 6.5.8…therefore women are powerless, have no inheritance, and speak more humbly than even a bad man

Apastamba Smriti -2:6:14 He should, during his lifetime, divide his wealth equally amongst his sons, excepting the eunuch, the mad man, and the outcast

        • Hariharan

There are two primary versions or Samhitas of the Yajurveda: Shukla (white) and Krishna (black). Both contain the verses necessary for rituals, but the Krishna Yajurveda includes the Brahmana prose discussions mixed within the Samhita, while the Shukla Yajurveda has separately a Brahmana text, the Shatapatha Brahmana.
The Smarta Brahmins follow Apastamba Smriti, not the Manusmriti. Āpastamba is from a family of Brahmins of the Taittirīya branch Vedic school dedicated to the study of the Black Yajurveda. and he was supposed to be living on the banks of River Godavari. However, a small minority of Sage Viswamitra are the followers of Aashvalaayana sutra i.e. the study of Rg Veda. The Smaarta Brahmins in Andhra Pradesh can be grouped into two major divisions: the Vaidiki Brahmins – Learners of Vedas and Niyogi – those appointed to official positions by Kings.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUKLA (WHITE) YAJURVEDA AND
            KRISHNA(BLACK)YAJURVEDA?
Shukla Yajur Vedam (SYV) is called Yagnavalkya Smritii; Smriti here does not mean a Purana, but recollection of Yajur Vedam by Yagnavalkya. Yagnavalkya, an illustrious person was so deeply involved that he would not give up his Vedic rites to attend to KIng Janak’s request. Janala is a Rajararshi himself.
This angered Yagnavalkya’s guru, so he cursed Yagnavalkya to forget whatever Yajurvedam he was taught by his guru. Then Yagnavalkya meditated on Sun and recollected what he had forgotten because of the curse.
However, his recollection was not 100% identical and thus we see some variations in the mantras, but no big sense variation. It was called Shukla branch, to emphasize that it was inspired by solar brilliance as well as to distinguish from Yajurvedam (which earned the Krishna prefix!).
Some people translate it as Black Yajurvedam, as though it is some black magic! Both are as good as they can be, The chanting styles are different.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANU SMRITI AND
            APASTAMBHA SMRITI?
APASTAMBA. An ancient writer on ritual and law, author of Sutras connected with the Black Yajur-veda and of a Dharma-sastra. He is often quoted in law-books. Two recessions of the Taittiriya Sanhita
It was Adi Shankaracharya who brought all the Vedic communities together. He removed the un-Vedic aspects that had crept into them. He smarta is derived. This term is used with respect to a certain specialized category of Brahmins. Propagating texts derived directly from the Vedas, they are followers of Apastamba Sutra as opposed.

          You are wrong.
All of the verses quoted shows respect for women, and all of these translations are correct,
And link provided by you is not related to subject(page no 341 rugveda)
          Some more quotations:
“Women must be honored and adorned by their fathers, brothers, husbands, and brothers‑in‑law, who desire their own welfare. Where women are honored, there the gods are pleased; but where they are not honored, no sacred rite yields rewards. Where the female relations live in grief, the family soon wholly perishes; but that family where they are not unhappy ever prospers. The houses on which female relations, not being duly honored, pronounce a curse, perish completely, as if destroyed by magic. Hence men who seek (their own) welfare, should always honor women on holidays and festivals with (gifts of) ornaments, clothes and (dainty) food.” (Manu Smriti III.55-59)

In a similar way that would foretell the future if women are no longer honored, Grandfather Bhishma explained: “O ruler of the earth (Yuddhisthira) the lineage in which daughters and the daughters-in-law are saddened by ill treatment, that lineage is destroyed. When out of their grief these women curse these households, such households lose their charm, prosperity and happiness.” (Mahabharata, Anushashanparva, 12.14)

Furthermore, in the Vedas, when a woman is invited into the family through marriage, she enters “as a river enters the sea” and “to rule there along with her husband, as a queen, over the other members of the family.” (Atharva-Veda 14.1.43-44) This kind of equality is rarely found in any other religious scripture. Plus, a woman who is devoted to God is more highly regarded than a man who has no such devotion, as found in the Rig-Veda: “Yea, many a woman is more firm and better than the man who turns away from Gods, and offers not.” (Rig-Veda, 5.61.6)

@Anonymous, you have been spending your precious or shall I say useless time in checking the reference that Nikhil sent you and then you boldly come and declare most of the translations are wrong. And you thought of being very smart by even sending the Arya Samaj link for it. I checked out 7 of the other mantras sent by Nikhil and find them in accordance with the one translated by Maharishi Dayananda Saraswati.

And besides that, as the link clearly said 3.31.1 was translated by Book: Mera Dharma, Author: Priyavrat Vedavachaspati, Gurukul Kangri University), and yes I agree that in this one, among all the others that I checked there is a variation between the two.

However what about the article that I had pasted on 6th September. Why don’t you (or did you already) start comparing that with the Arya Samaj translations. It is the same. So what have you to say about them?

Besides, let me tell you clearly, we reject outrightly translations of persons like Griffiths. Their translation is faulty, mischievious and absolutely wrong. I say because you have pasted Griffiths translations. And the most honorable and remarkable Dr Zakir Naik also relies on his translations.

I am sorry your knowledge of the sacred Vedas in particular, and Hinduism in general is extremely flawed. You should think before you write and send your posts.

Islamic extremism was not fundamentally rooted in Islam, nor could it be claimed a reaction to American foreign policy. It had its roots in the stagnation and dysfunctions of the Arab world. Decades of failure under tyrannical regimes, all claiming to be Western-style secular modernizers, had produced an opposition that was anti-Western, religious, violent, and increasingly globalized. Since the mosque was a place where people could gather and Islam an institution that was outside the reach of censorship, they both provided a context for the growth of the political opposition. An inter-generational effort to create more open and dynamic societies in Arab countries, and thereby helping Islam enter the modern world is admissible.-Padmabhusan Dr.Fareed Zakaria B.A., Yale University,Ph.D., Harvard University Born Mumbai, India an Indian-American journalist and author. YOU HAVE PROVIDED A GOOD COMMENT ON ISLAM BY DR.ZAKARIA.
And also look what is the opinion of Muslim scholar Bassam Tibi of Germany:

“At its core, Islam is a religious mission to all humanity. Muslims are religiously obliged to disseminate the Islamic faith throughout the world. ”We have sent you forth to all mankind” (Q. 34:28). If non-Muslims submit to conversion or subjugation, this call (dawa) can be pursued peacefully. If they do not, Muslims are obliged to wage war against them. In Islam, peace requires that non-Muslims submit to the call of Islam, either by converting or by accepting the status of a religious minority (dhimmi) and paying the imposed poll tax, jizya. World peace, the final stage of the dawa, is reached only with the conversion or submission of all mankind to Islam. Muslims believe that expansion through war is not aggression but a fulfillment of the Quranic command to spread Islam as a way to peace. The resort to force to disseminate Islam is not war (harb), a word that is used only to describe the use of force by non-Muslims. Islamic wars are not hurub (the plural of harb) but rather futuhat, acts of “opening” the world to Islam and expressing Islamic jihad. Relations between dar al-Islam, the home of peace, and dar al-harb, the world of unbelievers, nevertheless take place in a state of war, according to the Quran and to the authoritative commentaries of Islamic jurists. Unbelievers who stand in the way, creating obstacles for the dawa, are blamed for this state of war, for the dawa can be pursued peacefully if others submit to it. In other words, those who resist Islam cause wars and are responsible for them. Only when Muslim power is weak is temporary truce (hudna) allowed (Islamic jurists differ on the definition of temporary).”

India’s embrace of globalisation has reawakened the West’s interest in India, and one major consequence has been an explosion of books about India written by Westerners to such an extent that it qualifies to be called a separate genre in itself. And almost without exception, every such book in this genre reflects the same biases, is uniformly superficial, is ignorant of history, and in some cases, openly dishonest. Equally, almost every writer declares either in the preface or the afterword that he or she dearly loves India. And so the questions persist: what kind of love compels them to regurgitate biases, reflect ignorance, and reinforce the image of India as a poor third world nation which seems to have nothing but endemic poverty, filth, squalor, superstition, oppression of Muslims, and the dreaded caste system? Is it that India has absolutely no redeeming features, not one positive whatsoever?

    • nitha

BUT the period between 350 and 550 CE is known as the Golden Age of India because of the large achievements Indians made in the fields of mathematics, astronomy, science, religion and philosophy. The decimal numeral system, including the concept of zero, was invented in India during this period. The peace and prosperity created under leadership of Guptas enabled the pursuit of scientific and artistic endeavors in India. The Golden Age in India came to an end when the barbaric Hunas invaded and captured most of northern India in 500 CE.

The dynasty was founded by Chandra (Candra) Gupta I (r. 320 – c. 330). The Gupta era was once regarded as India’s Classical period, but new archaeological evidence has given the Mauryan empire that designation. Nevertheless, the Gupta period is noted for the flourishing of Sanskrit literature (see Kalidasa), its sophisticated metal coins, its advanced mathematics (which made use of decimal notation and the numeral zero and at that time was more advanced than anywhere else), and its astronomical advances.

After the Kushanas, India saw political unity only under the second great dynasty of ancient Indian history after the Mauryas, the Guptas.

The imperial Guptas were great conquerors, efficient administrators and renowned patrons of the arts, science and culture. What’s more, they lasted pretty long too; they had at least six strong rulers before the dynasty petered off, which meant greater stability than any kingdom had ever known in Indian sub-continent. Their reign is called the Golden Age of ancient Indian history.

There is evidence, the first traces ever, of fundamentalism as the staunchly Guptas set about reviving the older religion. It is in this era also that we see the beautifully simple and free-spirited Indian philosophy settling down into a more rigid mould of a religion that we now call Hinduism. There could be reasons for this, though.

For when the Guptas came on the scene India had just seen a long line of Indo-Greek, Indo-Bactrian, Indo-Parthian, in short Indo-anything except Indo-Indian rulers. and even then they had to continuously wage bitter battles to keep foreign invaders like the Sakas off their backs. So naturally they reached deep back to their roots so to speak, in reaction against all things foreign. To revive the glory of the `old’ culture, which had been obscured by the so-called foreign rulers, must have been a matter of pride for them. In this, however, came certain downs. For example the caste system came back with a vengeance but no longer as the flexible loose social structure of the early Indian days, but a strict code that later became such a curse for India.

      • Jaipal

        @Nitha,

Your claim that before the Guptas came on the scene, there was only
foreign rule like the Indo-Greeks, Parthians ect simply demonstrates
your lack of perspective and knowledge. What is present day
India was not really under foreign rule during this time.
After the Mauryan and Sunga dynasties, the next major Indian
imperial power were the Satavahanas. They brought much of
India together and were waging wars against the foreign enemies
located in the North-west like the Indo-Greeks, Scythians and
        Kushanas.

These foreign kingdoms you mention were concentrated mostly
on the peripheral borderlands, mostly in what is today’s Afghanistan
and Pakistan. India had its own Indian powers even at this time.

        So please correct your knowledge.

        • Jaipal

          @Nitha,

It is unfortunate that well-meaning Indians like you actually do damage
to Indian history when you state that the Mauryas were the first
imperial dynasty of India. It seems that you have forgotten that
there was a long Vedic history of Vedic dynasties and empires that
preceded the Mauryan empire. Have you ever heard of the Kuru
Empire which included all of India under Maharaja Parikshit?
Are you aware of an Indian dynasty known as Bharatha Dynasty
during which the Rig-Veda was composed? Have you ever
heard of the Battle of Ten Kings fought by an Indian King named
Sudasa? Ever heard of the battle of Kurukshethra?
There were many Indian empires which united much of India
long before the Mauryas and through which the Vedic civilization
became pan-Indian in spread. You need to seriously update
          yourself.

Also, the Gupta dynasty did not fall at the hands of the Huns.
The Guptas and their allies fought the Huns and defeated them
and drove them out of India.

The name Bhārata (भारत) has been used as a self-ascribed name by people of the Indian Subcontinent and the Republic of India. Bhārata is the official Sanskrit name of the country, Bhārata Gaṇarājya, and the name is derived from the ancient Indian texts, that which refers to the land that comprises India as Bhārata varṣam, and uses this term to distinguish it from other varṣas or continents. For example, the Vayu Puranas says he who conquers the whole of Bharata-varsa is celebrated as a samrāt (Vayu Purana 45, 86).However in some puranas, the term ‘Bharate’ refers to the whole Earth as Emperor Bharata is said to have ruled the whole Earth. Until the death of Maharaja Parikshit, the last formidable emperor of the Kuru dynasty, the known world was known as Bharata varsha.

BUT WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THE PANDYAN DYNASTY RULED MORE THAN 10000 YEARS.
Pandyan or Pandian dynasty was an ancient Tamil dynasty, one of the three Tamil dynasties (the other two being Chola and Chera). Even though, the earliest Tamil literary works, such as the Kaliththokai, mention a Tamil country called Kumari Kandam which was ruled by Pandyas for 10,000 years and got submerged by tsunamis, the historical evidences got so far tells that they ruled parts of South India from around 600 BCE (Early Pandyan Kingdom)to first half of 17th century AD. They initially ruled their country Pandya Nadu from Korkai, a seaport on the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula, and in later times moved to Madurai. Fish, being their flag, Pandyas were experts in water management, agriculture(mostly near river banks) and fisheries and they were eminent sailors and sea traders too. Pandyan was well known since ancient times, with contacts, even diplomatic, reaching the Roman Empire. During the 13th century AD, Marco Polo mentioned it as the richest empire in existence. The Pandyan empire was home to temples including Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, and Nellaiappar Temple built on the bank of the river Thamirabarani in Tirunelveli. The Pandya kings were called either Jatavarman or Maravarman Pandyan. From being Jains in their early ages, they became Shaivaits after some centuries of rule.
Pillaiyarpatti temple is a rock-cut temple located in Thiruppatthur, Sivagangai District. It was built after viewing a hillock by the early Pandiya kings. The image of Pillaiyarpatti Pillaiyar and that of a Siva Lingam were carved out of a stone by a sculptor named Ekkattur Koon Peruparanan who put his signature on a stone inscription, in Tamil Language used between the 2nd and 5th century AD, found even today in the sanctum. It can be concluded that the icon of Pillaiyarpatti Pillaiyar must have been carved around 4th century AD.
The Pandyas of Southern India are believed to have been founded at least five to six centuries before the Christian Era with a very strong possibility of a more ancient date of establishment. Their recorded existence and mention are found in records dating to as early as 550 BC. As recorded by Strabo, Emperor Augustus of Rome received at Antioch an ambassador from a South Indian King called Pandyan of Dramira. The country of the Pandyas, Pandi Mandala, was described as Pandyan Mediterranea in the Periplus and Modura Regia Pandyan by Ptolemy.
The early Pandyan Dynasty of the Sangam Literature faded into obscurity upon the invasion of the Kalabhras. The dynasty revived under Kadungon in the early 6th century, pushed the Kalabhras out of the Tamil country and ruled from Madurai. They again went into decline with the rise of the Cholas in the 9th century and were in constant conflict with them. The Pandyas allied themselves with the Sinhalese and the Cheras in harassing the Chola empire until they found an opportunity for reviving their fortunes during the late 13th century. The Later Pandyas (1216–1345) entered their golden age under Maravman Sundara Pandyan and Jatavarman Sundara Pandyan (c. 1251), who expanded the empire into Telugu country, conquered Kalinga (Orissa) and invaded and conquered Sri Lanka. They also had extensive trade links with the Southeast Asian maritime empires of Srivijaya and their successors. During their history, the Pandyas were repeatedly in conflict with the Pallavas, Cholas, Hoysalas and finally the Muslim invaders from the Delhi Sultanate. The Pandyan Kingdom finally became extinct after the establishment of the Madurai Sultanate in the 16th century.
The Pandyas excelled in both trade and literature before the Christian Era. They controlled the pearl fisheries along the South Indian coast, between Sri Lanka and India, which produced some of the finest pearls in the known ancient world. Traditionally, the legendary Sangams were held in Madurai under their patronage, and some of the Pandya Kings were poets themselves.

The Śātavāhana Empire or Andhra Empire, was a royal Indian dynasty based from Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh as well as Junnar (Pune) and Prathisthan (Paithan) in Maharashtra. The territory of the empire covered much of India from 230 BCE onward and it lasted about 450 years. The Satavahanas are credited for establishing peace in the country, resisting the onslaught of foreigners after the decline of Mauryan Empire.
Sātavāhanas started out as feudatories to the Mauryan dynasty, but declared independence with its decline. They are known for their patronage of Hinduism and Buddhism which resulted in Buddhist monuments from Ellora (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to Amaravati. The Sātavāhanas were one of the first Indian states to issue coins struck with their rulers embossed. They formed a cultural bridge and played a vital role in trade as well as the transfer of ideas and culture to and from the Indo-Gangetic Plain to the southern tip of India.
They had to compete with the Sungas and then the Kanvas of Magadha to establish their rule. Later, they played a crucial role to protect a huge part of India against foreign invaders like the Sakas, Yavanas and Pahlavas. In particular their struggles with the Western Kshatrapas went on for a long time. The great rulers of the Satavahana Dynasty Gautamiputra Satakarni and Sri Yajna Sātakarni were able to defeat the foreign invaders like the Western Kshatrapas and stop their expansion.

            @Jo,

After the decline of the Satavahanas, the Vakatakas took up the
fight and continued driving the Kshatrapas backwards to contain them
to the NW coast of present day Pakistan. Finally, the Gupta
king, Chandragupta the second, ethnically cleansed the Kshatrapas.

The Guptas also defeated and drove the Huns out of India.

If you see the structure of Muslim mindset, women of all other groups are their right hand women and that they have right on their bodies.

In India, the secular politics has emboldened them further. Even in Muzaffarnagar riots, it may have been a similar case.

Mohd did not have that many followers till the time he was in pure preaching mode. The moment he allowed his followers to loot, rape, take slaves from their battles, he got large number of followers. Imagine he could not think of heaven apart from 72 virgin with big boobs and also sodomizing of young boys.

Therefore it is in their mindset, permanently etched.

We have seen, how some are trying to focus debate against Hindus and we are defending ourselves unnecessarily. Give it back to monotheists as hard as you can.

I with most sincerely believe in concept of state being equal for all – however, given the nature of today’s polity of “psuedo secularists,” Let there be communal voting with a majority of Hindus getting together. So be it.

    • hari

Here are the 10 reasons that led to the communal unrest:

      1. The clash occurred over the alleged incident of eve teasing. The situation started deteriorating since August 27, when two youths of the Jat community were beaten to death in Kawaal village, under Jaansath tehsil of Muzaffarnagar. One youth from the minority community was also killed in the clash.

      2. In order to protest the incident, the Jat community organized a ‘panchayat’ at Jaansath town on August 31.

The panchayat demanded action against the culprits responsible for the murder of the two Jat youths. The panchayat also demanded the removal of the Superintendent of Police of Shamli district for his allegedly partisan conduct.

      3. The Khap panchayat then announced to organize a ‘Bahu Beti Samaan Bachaoi Mahapanchyat’ on September 7, at Nagla Mandaur, if their demands were not met.

The panchayat was organized by the Jat community at Nagla Mandaur, 20 km from Muzaffarnagar city, where over 1.5 lakh people from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi participated.

      4. The participants in the panchayat raised “highly provocative slogans”.

      5. Those going to participate in the ‘mahapanchyat’ were allegedly attacked and fired upon at Basee village on Saturday.

      6. The district administration allegedly failed to take measures to prevent the people from Haryana and Delhi from reaching the venue of the ‘mahapanchayat’.

      7. On September 5, the BJP had also given a call for Muzaffarnagar bandh.

      8. The situation worsened on Saturday following incidents of firing, stone pelting and violence in which IBN7 journalist Rajesh Verma and a part-time photographer of the state police, Israr, were killed.

      9. One of the inception points for the violence is a video posted online that wrongly claims to show two men being lynched by a mob in the state.

At a press conference on Sunday, Home Secretary Kamal Saxena said that the “fake video”, posted on YouTube and other social networks, was at least two years old and appears not to have been filmed in Uttar Pradesh.

      10. The video claims to capture the killing in a village named Kawal on August 27.

        @Hari,

How did the Muzafarnagar violence start?
Did the Hindus fight back against the Muslims and teach them a
        lesson?

        • Hariharan

Unlike Bangla Desh (which is the large concentration camp for Hindus) it is two
          way ,obviously.

        • Hariharan

          @Jaipal,cnm,Shloke,Indian Realist
Where is Cynical. Just hit and run is the abrahmanic /Communist culture,
          obviously.

          • Vineet

            @Jaipal,cnm,Shloke,Indian Realist, Hari

Likes of Cynical and monotheists supporters always see the death of Hindu as a regular law & order issue but death of a monotheist is “Communal Riot.”

Rape of Hindu girl is a given but that of a monotheist is “Communally Inspired Act”

Anyone can see that people were sick and tired in UP of the Government bending over backwards to appease monotheists and fuse was lit. Let the TV channels call it as clashes rather than riots.

@Hari – Thanks for listing the riots in last 18-20 months in UP. I am quite sure the rioting starting due to attack on processions must have been due to attack on “Idolators” by the “religion of peace”

All of you, keep up the good work. This elections, to save the country, Hindus need to unite and a large majority of us have to – I repeat – have to vote en-bloc to defeat these foreign funded agents, monotheist appeasers.

            • Jaipal

              @Vineet,

Yes, Hindus have to vote massively en-bloc.
All of us must vote for BJP in 2014. Its a matter of life and death.

I pray to God that Narendra Modi becomes PM.
              Never vote for regional parties.

    Good afternoon everybody ,
I am a muslim arab and I would like to mention that critisizing other religions and certainly with negative ideas this is not normal it is hatered. And the people that hate for NO reason are really Under educated and narrow minded.
Instead of talking about muslims you could talk about poverty , or your rape problems and your nation that has a problem in education because most of the indians do not have the chance to go to school. If you ( journalist ) would have enough courage to critisize these main problems and to critisize your government who is stealing your money and forgetting about you (people) you would be leaving in peace.
Peance and LOVE to all the religions.

You muslim arab have no rape problems at all because you have no problem in education at all because most of the muslim arabs are well educated .
Peace and LOVE to all the religions.

Saudi Arabia did not have a high school until after 1930, and its first girls’ school was established after 1950. The Saudis have only 250 public libraries to serve a population of 26 million people, and there were no hours for female readers until 2006. The Saudis spend many millions of dollars translating and publishing the Quran into other languages, without devoting similar efforts to making foreign books available in Arabic.[2]

Pakistan ranks second in the global ranking of countries with the highest number of out-of-school children with the figure estimated to be about 25 million. Seven million have yet to receive some form of primary schooling. As many as 9,800 schools were reportedly affected in Sindh and Balochistan due to floods. Around 600,000 children of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are reported to have missed one or more years of education due to ongoing militancy.

Pakistan has the lowest youth literacy rate. Only 59 percent females are literate as compared to 79 percent of males in the age group of 15 to 24 years. There are around 51.2 million adult illiterates in Pakistan. Only 65 percent schools have drinking water facilities, 62 percent have toilet facilities, 61 percent have a boundary wall and only 39 percent have electricity.

      • som

Senator Haji Muhammad Adeel while addressing the inaugural ceremony showed his concern over the literacy rate in Pakistan which he said is amongst the lowest in the world.
The actual literacy rate in Pakistan is hovering around 30% while this rate is around 15% in the tribal areas and the female literacy rate in tribal areas is around 5%.

      @wassim
In 2001, only 55 per cent of India’s 71 million Muslim males were literate, compared to 64.5 per cent for the country’s 461 million non-Muslim men. Less than 41 per cent of the country’s 67 million Muslim females were literate, versus 46 per cent of India’s 430 million non-Muslim women.
In proportional terms, the all-India Muslim male literacy rate was 15 per cent lower than that of non-Muslim males; this percentage difference increased to 17 per cent in urban India.
Far more serious was the percentage difference in literacy rates between Muslim females and their non-Muslim sisters -an 11 per cent disadvantage at the all-India level increased to over 19 per cent in urban India.
At the basic level of being ‘literate’, Muslim women were proportionately 11 per cent worse off than non-Muslims. The difference widened to 19 per cent for those educated up to middle school; to 35 per cent for those who studied up to Class X; 45 per cent for those who learnt up to Class XII; and 63 per cent for those who were graduates and above.

    • nikhil

      @wassim
Fifty-seven Muslim majority countries have an average of ten universities each for a total of less than 600 universities for 1.4 billion people; India has 8,407 universities, the U.S. has 5,758.
      . . .
Of the 1.4 billion Muslims 800 million are illiterate (6 out of 10 Muslims cannot read).

      • Imran Khan

42 % indians dont have access to literines. You dont trust me. Just google it. Till that you are stupid.

The problem lies in the mindset spread by modern laws which are anti male and anti truth and anti justice .Those who condenm islam has not studied hindu religious scriptures of past and their thinking pattern is based on false and misoandrist modern mindset which is anti truth and rationality. On the one hand they the definition of rape is one sided and is being only from point of view of female and feminist.Secondly stating that rape is greater than murder and than simultaneously say that if a person raped is murdered it is greater crime.Rape is a crime but it is not greater than or equal to murder. Laws are made blaming the males for rape .like if both are drunk than why male would be charged .Why having sex with promise for marriage for males but not for females is like rape in India. Why there is no international men day or why there is no MInistery of men and national commission for men .Why women and feminist have laws that touching a woman would become molestation. If they are sensitive why males would be punished for their sensitiveness. And this all is just tip of iceberg

hindu girls themselves come to muslim they love muslim dkz hindus feel complex and they rape girls see the truth
