Mad monotheists bomb Hindu temple in Mizoram

India is a secular country — enjoy! Monotheists have full freedoms in a polytheistic nation and are free to break idols because Hindus are “tolerant and inclusive.” Just ask Digvijay Singh of Congress!

Explosion in Mizoram temple

An explosion ripped through a temple inside the premises of the 26th battalion Assam Rifles in Aizawl early on Thursday morning.

The explosion shattered 26 window panes and some window frames, the police said.

Police suspected that the explosive used was gelatin and the bundle of gelatin sticks must have been thrown from the main road as the compound housing the temple was encircled by the road.

The explosion came on the day when the opposition Mizo National Front (MNF) is organising a rally called ‘Milem Biak Duhloh Kawngzawh’ or ‘Anti-Idol Worshipping Rally.’

Neither Arjuna nor Krishna were passive. Nor was Adi Shankara. Nor are many of the dieties, such as Hanuman. So why are Hindus?

    • @duartmaclean
I think it’s their diet, that is working against the Hindus. If you notice monoatheists are without exception meat-eaters.

      • Indian Realist

That’s an excellent argument to ban meat eating and save the world from monotheists.

        • cnm

          Well said Indian realist

        • You can (theoritically speaking) ban meat eating only in India. How can that save the world from monotheists? In the rest of the world where Hindus have no say and monotheists rule, they will continue eating meat. In fact we should act smart and start eating all sorts of meat, so that we can become tall and strong enough to take the monotheists head on and save our temples and women. It will also help us to produce a few fast bowlers who can bowl at 150 km/hr. Our 135 km/hr. fast bowlers are a national disgrace in international cricket.

          • Indian Realist

By your criteria, Pakistanis must be the most perfect race in the world.

            • Who is talking about most perfect race? I’m only concerned about producing mighty Hindu warriors (who will be fair skinned, tall and strong) and a few Hindu fast bowlers.

              • Indian Realist

Are you a Paki by any chance? Fair-skinned, tall and strong — Pakis claim these attributes to themselves in comparison with the “short, dark, rice-eating” Hindus.

                • No sir. Unfortunately I am also one of those ‘short, dark, rice-eating’ people who are weak in thier knees, but strong in verbose.

                  • cnm

Are you sure you are short? Does it mean that you have started eating all sorts of meat beef included(?) yet? Or your devouring all all sorts of meat has given the expected results?

                    • cnm

typo — read “Does it mean you have not started eating all sorts of meat beef included yet?”

                  • Indian Realist

Then I suggest some pork for you which has very good nutrients to make you strong in the knees.

          • Anonymous

I wish you had not contempt for Hindus and had only read some Gita . The Gita emphasizes that one’s right is to only perform one’s duties. What the monotheists are doing in their land has nothing to do with us Hindus in India. The British like all other Europeans are voracious meat(beef)eaters and it is nobody’s case to question why they are eating beef so long as they are doing that inside Europe. But when they invaded India and started killing cows for beef great revolts like the KUKA took place. Considering the fact that Kukas are Hindus they had every right to rise in revolt against the British to protect cows in their homeland.

            • @Anonymous
What nonsense! British started killing cows! Muslims came to India atleast 900 years before British. And Greeks came before Muslims and Aryans came long before Greeks. And what all these people eating? Bhendi? Baigan? or Saag? There is mention of beef eating in Vedas, Aryans used to eat beef, as many tribes as well.

              • cnm

I know you are a dumb when it comes to understanding History. The Muslim invaders when started killing cows in India it was only with the intention to defile and denigrate the religion of the Hindu Kafirs not for food, Though one or two Muslim invaders might be killing cows for food. .There also the idea to denigrate Hindus was very much present. Yes one thing you will appreciate that before the advent of the Muslim marauders beef eating was simply unthinkable in India.

But in the case of the British large scale and organized cow slaughter was carried for food. “There is mention of beef eating in Vedas”. Quite Marxist stuff. Where else can you take refuge? Though I know you are not in the habit of taking good advice still let me suggest that you read the chapter 7 page 63 of the Book ” Eminent historians –their Technology, Their Line, Their Fraud” by Arun Shourie. I am sure you will enjoy how the Marxist Historian or shall I say Joker K.M Srimali pees his pants in the face of solid irrefutable facts with regard to Beef eating in the Vedas. By the way, a Veadajna ( knower of the Vedas) that you are do not forget to quote the verses of the Vedas that have so enlightened you as to proclaim that there is prescription for beef eating in the Vedas.

                • cnm

                  @ cynical

Where are ? Every time I present some unpalatable facts to you go hibernating. Where do you really go ? I think you just jump into the lap of a your missionary father or mullah father. Now you have proclaimed that there is mention of beef eating in the Vedas. I have asked for proofs. But they are not coming. It seems as always you have fled the scene. Now do not claim anything in future which have not the guts to prove. If you still fail to mend your ways, I have to accept that you are just a mad dog.

                  • @cnm
For the pursuit of knowledge what’s necessary is reading, discussing with teachers and peers; the rest is remembering the knowledge you so acquire. There is a difference between a seeker of knowledge and a record-keeper. Are you one who kept all the books you ever read with the important lines you might require someday in a random blog to prove/disprove another person? If you are interested go and search for yourself. I can’t do it for you. Of course you have the choice of remaining ignorant. But I will give you a hint. Do you know that sacrificing animals was a part of Vedic (Aryan) rituals? Have you ever heard of ‘Aswamedh Yagna’ or ‘Gomedh Yagna’? Do you know that after the ‘Yagna’ people used to feast on the sacrificed animal? If you don’t please consult with a vedic scholar at the nearest college or university. Don’t consult langoti babas in the temples around you who will sell you any idea that pleases you for a few bucks given as Pranami.

                    • Indian Realist

Child sacrifice was a routine in monotheistic cults. The desert God demands child sacrifice. See the below:

                      ephthah Burns His Daughter

“At that time the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he went throughout the land of Gilead and Manasseh, including Mizpah in Gilead, and led an army against the Ammonites. And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD. He said, “If you give me victory over the Ammonites, I will give to the LORD the first thing coming out of my house to greet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

“So Jephthah led his army against the Ammonites, and the LORD gave him victory. He thoroughly defeated the Ammonites from Aroer to an area near Minnith – twenty towns – and as far away as Abel-keramim. Thus Israel subdued the Ammonites. When Jephthah returned home to Mizpah, his daughter – his only child – ran out to meet him, playing on a tambourine and dancing for joy. When he saw her, he tore his clothes in anguish. “My daughter!” he cried out. “My heart is breaking! What a tragedy that you came out to greet me. For I have made a vow to the LORD and cannot take it back.” And she said, “Father, you have made a promise to the LORD. You must do to me what you have promised, for the LORD has given you a great victory over your enemies, the Ammonites. But first let me go up and roam in the hills and weep with my friends for two months, because I will die a virgin.” “You may go,” Jephthah said. And he let her go away for two months. She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never have children. When she returned home, her father kept his vow, and she died a virgin. So it has become a custom in Israel for young Israelite women to go away for four days each year to lament the fate of Jephthah’s daughter.” (Judges 11:29-40 NLT)

                      God Commands Burning Humans

[The Lord speaking] “The one who has stolen what was set apart for destruction will himself be burned with fire, along with everything he has, for he has broken the covenant of the LORD and has done a horrible thing in Israel.” (Joshua 7:15 NLT)

                      Josiah and Human Sacrifice

At the LORD’s command, a man of God from Judah went to Bethel, and he arrived there just as Jeroboam was approaching the altar to offer a sacrifice. Then at the LORD’s command, he shouted, “O altar, altar! This is what the LORD says: A child named Josiah will be born into the dynasty of David. On you he will sacrifice the priests from the pagan shrines who come here to burn incense, and human bones will be burned on you.” (1 Kings 13:1-2 NLT)

He [Josiah] executed the priests of the pagan shrines on their own altars, and he burned human bones on the altars to desecrate them. Finally, he returned to Jerusalem. King Josiah then issued this order to all the people: “You must celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in the Book of the Covenant.” There had not been a Passover celebration like that since the time when the judges ruled in Israel, throughout all the years of the kings of Israel and Judah. This Passover was celebrated to the LORD in Jerusalem during the eighteenth year of King Josiah’s reign. Josiah also exterminated the mediums and psychics, the household gods, and every other kind of idol worship, both in Jerusalem and throughout the land of Judah. He did this in obedience to all the laws written in the scroll that Hilkiah the priest had found in the LORD’s Temple. Never before had there been a king like Josiah, who turned to the LORD with all his heart and soul and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king like him since. (2 Kings 23:20-25 NLT)

                      Human Sacrifice

Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself. In the time of their visitation they shall shine, and shall dart about as sparks through stubble; (Wisdom 3:5-7 NAB The Book of The Wisdom of Solomon is mostly in Catholic versions of the Bible.)

                      Child Sacrifice

And this became a hidden trap for mankind, because men, in bondage to misfortune or to royal authority, bestowed on objects of stone or wood the name that ought not to be shared. Afterward it was not enough for them to err about the knowledge of God, but they live in great strife due to ignorance, and they call such great evils peace. For whether they kill children in their initiations, or celebrate secret mysteries, or hold frenzied revels with strange customs… (Wisdom 14:21-23 RSV) The Book of The Wisdom of Solomon is mostly in Catholic versions of the Bible. This passage condemns human sacrifice but acknowledges that it did happen by early God worshipers.

                      Humans are Fuel for Fire

As for you, son of man, prophesy: Thus says the Lord GOD against the Ammonites and their insults: A sword, a sword is drawn for slaughter, burnished to consume and to flash lightning, because you planned with false visions and lying divinations to lay it on the necks of depraved and wicked men whose day has come when their crimes are at an end. Return it to its sheath! In the place where you were created, in the land of your origin, I will judge you. I will pour out my indignation upon you, breathing my fiery wrath upon you, I will hand you over to ravaging men, artisans of destruction. You shall be fuel for the fire, your blood shall flow throughout the land. You shall not be remembered, for I, the LORD, have spoken. (Ezekiel 21:33-37 NAB)

                      A cynical
Time and again by way of your spurious comments you have proved me right that you are a communist crank, an incurable anti- Hindu with the most vilest kind of contempt for the Hindus, for their motherland, for their religion, for their culture and for everything Hindu.
In my last comment I have specifically asked you to produce the verses that accord Shatric sanction to beef eating. As always you have failed miserably in doing that. I know that Marxist crackpots like you always lack the elementary knowledge of Sanskrit and throughout their life they never open a single page of the Vedas. Even then you have the gumption to advise me to consult a vedic scholar at the nearest college or university.
It is because you know that in the name vedic teaching these so-called scholars in colleges thrust down the throats of gullible Indians the most bizarre, perverted and third rate translations of Vedas done by colonial scoundrels and frauds like Maxmuller and Griffiths and their brown descendants in India .

Interestingly, you have pooh-poohed the idea of learning Vedas sitting at feet of the great Indian Babas who through thick and thin have preserved, protected and disseminated a the Vedic knowledge. Why? is it because such learning threatens your very agenda of de-hinduizeing India?

Duart, we’re caught unawares for the past 70 years, our media is sold and we’re drinking in the propaganda since.

    • No sir. It’s not just last 70 years. You were caught unaware many years before and more than once. Md Bin Qasim, Ghaznavi, Lodhis, Abdalis, Babur, Taimur, Nadir Shah, Lord Clive and even Ajmal Kasab caught you unaware. For a nation to become strong, first it has to understand its weakness. False bravado will not help. A friendly advice.

      • duartmaclean

India has always been the analogy of a ‘beautiful, voluptuous princess’ to the rest of the world. Everyone wants a piece of Her. This has been both India’s glory as well as Her downfall. Metaphorically, as a result, India has been ‘raped’ again and again, by foreigners who truly have no business being there, except as respectful, appropriate guests who leave when their time is due. This includes the Arabs, the Greeks, the French, the Portuguese, the British, the Chinese and so forth. It’s time for India to take a stand and reaffirm herself. The Congress Party will never do this. Their history proves it.

The Italian explorer, Marco Polo, who visited India one thousand years ago, noted that the Brahmins, who did their trade in gold, were so respected for their honesty that no client would check to verify that the amount of gold they were given by the Brahmins was what the Brahmins said it was. Both foreigners and locals gave them their absolute trust. The Brahmins were also absolutely faithful to their wives — another big surprise for Marco Polo. As a result the Indian principalities, and by extension India, were flourishing. They had tremendous integrity, something which is hard to find in the world today. For the time, these Brahmins were truly remarkable. During Marco Polo’s travels he mostly encountered barbarianism, so his experience in India was a huge and positive surprise for him.

        • Jaipal

          @Duart Maclean,

The first part of your above paragraph is actually not quite right.
The Indians have always fought and resisted militarily most
invaders and either won in the initial round or in the final round,
          after prolonged struggle.

The Arabs were defeated 30 times by Indian Hindu kings and
kept in check for nearly 300 years. This is admitted by Arab
historians by the way. The Arabs considered the Indians as a
powerful people who were hard to defeat in battle. You should
seriously read their admiration and fear of the Indian forces of that
          time. You will be shocked.

As for the Greeks, even they too could not conquer India.
Alexander’s Macedonian forces faced a very stiff battle with
the Indian ruler Porus and it destroyed their morale, a fact
admitted by Greek historians which forced Alexander to retreat.
The Mauryan Dynasty defeated the residual Macedonian forces
in the Northwest and eliminated them, again testified by Greek
sources. The Seleucids also tried but they also failed at the hands
of the Mauryan empire. The Bactrian Greeks also tried but they
were defeated and kept in check by the successors of the Mauryas,
namely by the Sunga Empire. There are inscriptions proving this.

The French were really not much of a problem and they also
couldn’t conquer India. The French were basically allowed
trading posts by the local Indian rulers like Pondicherry.

The Portuguese also couldn’t go beyond the coastal areas and
here too, the local Indian rulers simply allowed them trading posts
with the purpose of trade. The Indian Kingdoms kept the
Portuguese contained and confined to the coast. It should
be noted that a Hindu Kingdom like Calicut successfully fought a
100 year war with the Portuguese and emerged victorious.
Later, the Marathas would remove the residual Portuguese
          presence from the coast.

The British could only gain control of India largely because of
Indian troops called Sepoys working for them and local
          collaborators like some Maharajahs.

As for the Chinese, the 1962 war was more of a border skirmish
of limited value. But I would like to draw your attention that
Indian forces had successfully invaded Western Tibet in 1841 AD
and fought a battle called Battle of Chushul which defeated a
combined Tibetan-Chinese imperial army. In 1967 AD, the
Indian army had fought a conflict with China in Sikkim and
defeated the Chinese there, a battle known as Battle of Chola
          and Battle of Nathu-La.

When you actually compare India’s military record with countries
in the Middle-east, Central Asia, it seems far more creditable
in terms of military resilience and number of victories agaisnt
          outside attackers.

I mean look at Egypt’s utterly dismal record when compared
          to India’s.

      • Jaipal

You do not know the correct history of India.
The Arabs were defeated 30 times by the Hindu kings,
a fact admitted by the Arab historians. Mohd Kasim was just
an aberration. The Arabs lost control of much of Sind very quickly.
The actual story is that the Arabs failed to conquer India inspite
of making attempts lasting 300 years. Think about it.

Ghaznavi was resisted by a Hindu Confederacy and forced back
which is why he could not conquer India east of the Indus river
even though he made expeditions further east.

Lodhis were systematiccally fought and defeated by the Mewar
Rajputs led by Rana Sanga. Mewar was the strongest kingdom in
North India at that time. Lodis were weak and were of no real

Timur was actually defeated and expelled from India by the Khap
Panchayat armies of the Hindu Jats of North India. Even Timur
admits this fact in his memoirs.

Abdali was resisted and finally defeated by the Sikhs and thrown
out of Punjab by the Khalsa Sikh Armies. This too has been
admitted by Abdali. Abdali also lost a couple of battles with the
Marathas, except the Battle of Panipat.

Nadir Shah was forced to flee from Delhi because a strong Maratha
force under Baji Rao 1 was coming to fight him and he couldn’t
face them. Nadir Shah defeated Mughal, not Indian force.

Robert Clive won the Battle of Plassey largely by bribing the
general of Siraj-Ad-Daulah, Mir Jafar, to switch sides during the
battle. This led to confusion and caused his defeat.
Siraj Ad-Daulah was a strong and redoubtable fighter but treachery
        brought him down.

Ajmal Kasab is of no consequence. He was caught and finally

this has happened 2month ago and a lot of indians donot know that such a thing happened. media which is congress’ lackey has totally abandoned it.

and i hav seen some xians on some forums who were saying that this is the work of some miscreants. but what about the anti-idol-worshipping rallies, this atleast is not the work of miscreants.

    • @abhi
I doubt if these incidents have anything to do with religion. It might as well be a reaction to Indian army’s inhuman treatment of the people in North Eastern states, where the soldiers regularly abuse (including rape) their women.

Assault on Indian democracy and the unity of India:
        In Odisha:
In February 2012, the Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda confessed that it was the Maoists(Evngelaicalist Christians )who indeed killed Odisha MLA Jagbandhu Majhi in September 2011 and Swami Laxmananda Saraswati in 2007. The killing of the latter was motivated by the religious discourse in Maoist terror that has pervaded Kandhamal district.
As per a member of parliament of the Congress party from Odisha,India about 70 MLAs and 10 MPs are under constant Maoist threats. This constitutes half the elected members from the state, the total number of MPs being 21 and MLAs 149.
        In Chhattisgarh:
Maoist rebels extort up to Rs 300 crore every year in Chhattisgarh from traders of forest products, transporters and iron ore mining firms, Maoists extort at least Rs.250-300 crore annually and their extortion business runs from the state’s southern tip of Bastar to the northern Surguja district. They mainly extort money from traders of ‘tendu’ leaves, iron ore mining firms, small and big contractors and transporters,
Tendu leaves, which are used to make bidis (leaf-rolled cigarettes), are one of the most important forest products of the Bastar region that has been considered the centre of Maoist terrorism in India since the late 1980s.
The restive region spread across 40,000 sq km has deposits of about 20 percent of the country’s total iron ore stocks and owners of the mines regularly face extortion demands from Maoists. The traders, businessmen, contractors and others who pay extortion money hardly have the courage to report it to the police because of the fear of Maoists and their own business interests in the region..
Of the 1,500 casualties in Maoist violence since the state came into existence in November 2000 after splitting from Madhya Pradesh, 90 percent have been from Bastar.
        In Tripura:
For decades Tripuras indigenous tribal population has been dragged out of their homes and forced to convert to Christianity under threat of violence. Whenever any of the tribals organize Hindu festivals or rituals, the terrorist groups attack to desecrate and kill the participants. There have been incidents of issuing a ban on the Hindu festivals of Durga Pooja and Saraswati Pooja. The NLFT manifesto says that they want to expand what they describe as the kingdom of God and Christ in Tripura. The hill tribe Jamatiya worship in the month of March their traditional god Gadiya, who is supposed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The terrorists have issued an order that the Gadiya be prayed on the Christmas day instead.
Another church official, Jatna Koloi, who was also arrested, admitted that he received training in guerrilla warfare at an NLFT base . It is now apparent that the pattern of forced conversions at gunpoint are irrefutably linked to the Baptist Church in Tripura. The NLFT is accused of forcing Tripura?s indigenous tribes to become Christians and give up Hindu forms of worship in areas under their control.
In Tripura, there were no Christians at independence; there are 120.000 today, a 90% increase since 1991.
        In Arunachal Pradesh:
The figures are even more striking in Arunachal Pradesh, where there were only 1710 Christians in 1961, but 1,2 million today, as well as 780 churches!
        In Nagaland:
Christian Naga terrorists have been killing non-Christians for decades on end, and this has never been an issue with the world media,
        In Andhra Pradesh :
In Andhra Pradesh, churches are coming-up every day in far flung villages and there was even an attempt to set-up one near Tirupati.
        In Maharashtra:
Many Christian action group cadres have also been inducted into prominent naxalite groups under the garb of liberation theology activists. For instance Vernon Gonsalves @ Vikram, a state committee member of Maharashtra unit of CPI (Maoist) who was arrested by the ATS, Maharashtra, in August,2007 and another top Maoist leader Arun Ferreira, r/o Bandra, who was arrested by Nagpur police have both confessed to the police that they are activists of liberation theology movement. A number of human rights activists including Dr.Binayak Sen,Vice President of PUCL, have also been arrested in the recent past for their close links with the Maoist movement in the country confirming the close links between the Maoist movement and NGO and human rights net-work. Since the Christian action groups in the country are all controlled by various church agencies, many church leaders in India are also now directly linked with the naxalite movement.

Today, with the full support and all possible assistance from the networking NGOs and also with the systematic induction of a large number of NGO activists into major naxalite groups, the naxal movement in the country has now become very powerful and it continues to make inroads into more and more new areas, especially in the remote and tribal regions.

About 170 districts in 15 states in the country are now reportedly considered as naxal-infested. This unprecedented growth of naxalite movement in the country can be attributed to the support and encouragement it receives from the action group movement of networking NGOs which has got a strong and wide network all over the country.

The irony of the situation is that the naxalite movement which proclaims to be the greatest crusader against the imperialist lobby is presently controlled by the action group movement which in turn is promoted, financed and controlled by the same imperialist lobby.
NATO,CIA and Evngelaicalist Christians (Maoist) are same.
They are doing everythings against democracy and human liberty.
To control over the resources by destabilize the region is their geopolitical goal.
For them Jesus is nothing but an ‘artifice of aggression’.
Villages are being terrorised to ‘donate’ at least one child from each family to the cause of Maoist terror.
One of the Italians, Paolo Bosusco, had visited the area several times before and enjoyed the hospitality of the Maoists. His being taken hostage was a staged drama to humble the Indian state. Paolo is a member of an Italy based Ultra-Leftist organisation, Party of Committees to Support Resistance for Communism (CARC). In December 2011, the Maoist Communist Party of Manipur in a press release had acknowledged its association and support of some foreign based ultra-leftist outfits. They are: Communist Party of Philippines, Association for Proletarian Solidarity, Italy (ASP), Maoist Communist Party of France, Revolutionary Communist Party Canada (PCR – RCP), and Party of the Committees to Support Resistance for Communism (CARC), Italy. Some of the western countries had played a very dubious role in fanning Left Wing Extremism (LWE) in Nepal to facilitate religious conversion. Kandhamal district of Odisha suffers from the same paradigm. Nepal’s example should not be lost out on India.
As far as military prowess of the Maoists goes, there is evidence of AK-47s being supplied by the United Wa Army in Myanmar. The AK-47 manufacturing facility has been provided by China to the said insurgent outfit. The Maoist-ISI-LeT-militant groups nexus in Kashmir and the North-East is fairly well established. The Chinese, according to a national television channel, have also begun to supply sophisticated signal equipment with encryption capabilities to the Maoists.
The top two non-governmental donors to India were U.S.-based missionary organizations, World Vision International at ~$155 million and Gospel for Asia ~$99.5 million — together that’s $255 million into India in just one year. Overall, an astonishing 18,996 organizations in India, a disproportionate number linked to Christian missionaries, received donations totaling $2.4 billion in 2007 alone. And the inflow has been growing rapidly. 2007 showed contributions more than double of 2002. With these numbers, how can we say the concerns are unfounded?
The war is on. In this war the adversary has a deadly cocktail of ideology, foreign support, religious agenda, armed cadres, criminal financing and terror. It would be anti-national to treat it as a law and order problem. The assault is now on Indian democracy and the unity of India. Let us unite and fight because now in question is the very air-of-freedom that we are breathing.

        • som

The only real problem for India’s external enemies and their internal allies is the existence of its formidable armed forces. Observers of the treatment of India should note with alarm that these are being systematically undermined even as vast sums are spent on the import of an array of weapons from abroad. The patriotic sensibilities of young officers and fighting men and women are being systematically corroded and the most senior officers increasingly selected for their political loyalty to India’s first family rather than professional merit. The banning of rakhi within the armed forces, which passed without vigorous protest from India’s seasonal nationalists, is an illustration of the vicious warfare being waged against India’s warriors. India’s first two Param Vir Chakra awardees, Majors, Somnath Sharma and Piru Singh, made the supreme sacrifice with the teachings of the Gita in their hearts and Sri Ram on their lips. In addition, the misuse of human rights ruses, sponsored by foreign intelligence services, to harass the armed forces, also promoted with alacrity by India’s English media, is merely a vehicle to reduce effectiveness in situations of armed combat in which civilian casualties are unavoidable. The spectacle of rampant corruption at the highest levels of Indian society, shielded by the Indian Prime Minister himself, constitutes a further grievous danger since it must inevitably affect their commitment to fight and die for their country. In the end, the integrity of India’s armed forces depends on the survival of legitimate political authority within the country, without which it cannot engage in integrated combat and will be left rudderless.

Ordinary Indians may somehow imagine their country is immune to the dangers of a new partition or the loss of national sovereignty, but the signs of peril are flashing bright. The contemporary attempt to perpetuate the Nehru dynasty, turning the Indian Republic into a quasi-monarchy, has prompted a non-holds barred contest that is reducing the most critical political and administrative structures of the Indian polity to a hollow shell. The vital decision-making apparatus of government, the Indian Union Cabinet and the office of the Prime Minister have virtually ceased to exist. In its place, retainers of the first family and any section of society that might be organised to support it are running amok. Along with the purchased mainstream media, opportunistic professionals (e.g. academics from US universities advising Rahul Gandhi) and political entrepreneurs are straining to influence events in favour of the crown prince and his family. So absurd is the situation that his semi-literate, octogenarian Italian grandmother can determine matters of state alongside cynical political retainers of the likes of Manish Tiwari and Ahmed Patel. Their interest in the welfare of the Indian State and society is deeply suspect and their capacity for subversion enormous. Any self-respecting country would have immediately sanctioned their judicial incarceration and worse.

The priority accorded by the Indian political elite to the fortunes of the Nehru dynasty progressively unloosened the fragile socio-political ties that bound India after Independence. Securing Indira Gandhi’s personal rule was achieved by curtailing meaningful expressions of democracy in the Congress party, which her father had managed by force of personality as a prominent leader of Indian Independence. Indira Gandhi placed family retainers in positions of power and the Congress party lost touch with its far flung support base in the country. It increasingly became opportunistically beholden to narrow political constituencies whose sectarian interests and identities were cultivated and accentuated to ensure divisive political loyalties. The final act of this sombre drama is now being played out. The narrow political appeal of the Congress party is precariously perched in the hands of a truculent Islamic Ummah and a rural-urban lumpen proletariat, wantonly enticed through bribery. This alliance is haunted by failure because a divided India is readying to descend into political chaos. A resulting shrill cry of desperation is emanating from India’s first family, appealing to the basest instincts and most extreme demands of constituents. The extraordinary attempt to identify Hindus as the chief perpetrators of terrorism in India, almost exclusively the responsibility of Islam, is but one sign of this despair.

          @ Karan,
Good authentic information. I belong to Orissa. In an article written by Odisha’s reputed Columnist Barandrakrishna Dhala published in one of the largest circulated Odia Dailies, Dharitri reveals that on the eve of Swami Laxmananda’s ghastly murder, Delhi Arch Bishop Vincent Concessao and UPA’s darling John Dayal had visited Kndhamal secretly and stayed there for over two months to oversee the slaughter of Swami Laxmananada Saraswati Dharitri So,the nexus between Maoists and Christian Missionaries is an open secret. Interestingly, a majority of Maoists in Odisha are Christians. Read this report published in the secular rag The Hindu

Majority of Maoist supporters in Orissa are Christians.

Bhubaneswar (PTI): Admitting that Maoist groups in Orissa derive major support from minority communities, a prominent Maoist leader has said there was reportedly pressure from both Christians and Dalits to eliminate VHP leader Laxmanananda Saraswati.

Sabyasachi Panda alias Sunil, who met a group of journalists at an undisclosed hideout on Saturday, said Saraswati was killed as he did not pay any heed to Maoist’s warning. The transcript of Panda’s meeting was made available to PTI on Sunday.

“We had asked Laxmanananda to desist from anti-Christian activities. He created a riot in December 2007 and subsequently targeted people indulging in cow slaughter,” he said, adding people of both the communities were opposed to the seer. Noting that most of the cadre members and supporters in Orissa belonged to Christian community, Panda said, “It is a fact that Christians are in majority in our organisation. Our supporters in Orissa’s Rayagada, Gajapati and Kandhamal also belonged to Christian community.”

The Maoist leader, however, pointed out that though Christians were major support base of the outfit in Orissa, the situation was not similar across the country. “We do not believe in any religion or are attached to any religious groups. We are not in favour of any religion,” he said claiming Laxamananda was working to revive Brahminism which was almost disappearing.

But your supplying information to Malaydeb aka Cynical is a futile exercise. Be sure, he is never going to rebut any of your information. He just runs away facing uncomfortable questions.

          • karan

They just run away or never going to rebut any of my informations is does not matter for me.Only spreading the truth where ever and when ever possible is my objective.
Actually this is a globule subject and Provincial Governments cannot solve this crucial issue, only Federal or Central Government can solve
this issue.Remember, this is a religious issue as well as a threat
on our sovereignty, unity and integrity as a nation, ,democracy and finally very air-of-freedom that we are breathing.

And,thanks for useful informations and appreciations.

Baptist Church should be banned in India.

Well, it’s very interesting and gratifying to read this long letter. I never realized we Christians are so powerful in India.

          • Indian Realist

Lot of powerful people believe sun goes around earth, dead bodies fly and serpents talk. And yes, they also speak in strange tongues.

It is because you never realise that Sonia that power hungry avowed Christian is the de facto PM of india is a vatican implant.

            • @cnm
Sonia is elected by people in a democratic set up. And those people have as much right to elect a person of their choice as you and me have. By the way Mohan Bhagbat is a RSS plant and the de facto president of BJP.

              • cnm

It is good to see that you have not forgotten me. Do not try to intimidate me by citing RSS, BJP and Narendra Modi. I am not a devotee of any of the three. I think the presence of RSS has given a false sense of security to the Hindus who have become more or less carefree as to their future in India under the false pretext that RSS is there to protect and look after their interest. To have better idea about the functioning of RSS do read this book “Whither Sangh Parivar –Time for stock taking” You can read this book online at
Similarly , the BJP is the B party of Congress. The 6 year of BJP rule had nothing special for to the Hindus whose votes had voted it to power. Of course the only exception is The Nuclear Explosion. The grand failure of the BJP to costruct the Sri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, the unabated continuation of the cow slaughter, and the letting off the Italian Christian Sonia and her partners in crime (with the overt and covert intervention of the Congress mole Brajesh Mishra) in the Bofors scandal are a few of glaring blunders that put Bjp in the same club with Congress.

Coming to Narendra Modi he is yet to be tried at centre but the kind of respect he commands in Gujrat is phenomenal though I am not a fan of his Economic model. I am sure that Narendra Modi had no role in Gujarat riots. But I would have been the happiest person in the world if Modi had had some hand in post Godhra riots. I am of this opinion that whenever massacre like Godhra takes place post Godhra like incidents will sure to follow even if to strike a balance. Besides, Modi’s attempt to garner Muslim votes indicate he is as much adept as other secular leaders at playing vote bank politics.

Now about elections. In India elections are a big joke. Here a candidate is elected even just securing a mere 25% vote while a staggering 75% votes are cast against him. If this is not a joke what is it?

                • There is at least something we can agree. Happy, that you understand what an opportunist and morally dishonest set up that BJP is.

                  • cnm

That you can agree with me on something is news. Now that you have agreed with me you must therefore agree that Hindus, at the moment, are in need of a party which is not opportunist and morally dishonest like the BJP. The party that I am talking about will naturally, if becomes honest and sincere unlike the BJP, will carry out the real agenda of the BJP meaning it will construct the Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, article repeal 370 , reopen Bofors case , constitute a committee to investigate into receipt of funds by the congress and Sonia from KGB of the USSR and besides trying to repel the smoke of mystery surrounding the Educational qualifications of Sonia. They are many other issues but,to start with, the above issues should be given the priority by the new party. Am I right brother.?

          • @Jeemon
But there is no gurrantee that you will be seen as powerful for ever by the saffron brigade. Your time will be up, the moment they find another minority group to crib about. It might be the Jews, the Parsis, the Buddhists, the Jains or may be some animist group. They are always in search of enemies. They are even afraid of their own shadows.

      • Indian Realist

By that logic, Hindus demolished Babri Mosque because of inhuman treatment Kashmiri Pandits received at the hands of Muslims. Anyway, organizing an “anti-idol worshiping rally” is a strange way to protest against army atrocities.

Mizo National Front (MNF) is a regional political party in Mizoram, India. MNF emerged out of the Mizo National Famine Front, which was formed by Pu Laldenga to protest against the inaction of the Indian central government towards the famine situation in the Mizo areas of the Assam state in 1959. It staged a major uprising in 1966, followed by years of underground activities. In 1986, it signed the Mizo Accord with the Government of India, renouncing secession and violence. MNF suffered a strong incumbency wave in the 2008 Mizoram Election and lost all their MLA seats except three.
The March 1966 Mizo National Front uprising was a revolt against the Government of India, aimed at establishing a sovereign state for the Mizos. On 1 March 1966, the Mizo National Front (MNF) made a declaration of independence, after launching coordinated attacks on the Government offices and security forces post in different parts of the Mizo district in Assam. The Government suppressed the uprising and recaptured all the places seized by the MNF by 25 March 1966. Counter-insurgency operations continued over the next few years, although the intensity of the rebellion diminished over time progressively till its complete resolution in the 1986 peace talks.

During the Government operations to suppress the rebellion, the Indian
Air Force carried out airstrikes in Aizawl; this remains the ONLY instance of India carrying out an airstrike in its own civilian territory.

Mizoram Presbyterian Church (Mizoram Presbyterian Kohhran in Mizo) is the largest Church in Mizoram state in Northeast India. The other two are the Baptist Church of Mizoram and the Evangelical Church of Maraland.

Atrocities on Hindus of Meghalaya(North-East India) has been carried out by NTLF (National Tripura Liberation Front) supported by Baptist Church.

BUT Mizo National Front (Democratic) was a regional political party in Mizoram, India. MNF(D) was formed when the Mizo National Front split on August 30, 1988. Nine of the 25 MNF Members of the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram left the party and formed MNF(D). On January 26, 1989 MNF(D) formed a state government together with the Indian National Congress. Later MNF(D) merged with Congress

North-East India is a term that usually refers to the seven states of Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Sikkim and the Darjeeling district of West Bengal belong to it geographically but are not normally included though often associated with the North East India Christian Council. With the exception of the two princely states of Manipur and Tripura, the area was formerly known as Assam. All of these states, except Tripura are largely hilly. These states, bordering the borders of the Indian Union with Tibet, China, Myanmar and Bangladesh have witnessed an extraordinary transformation of their religious profile of their populations during the last century. An intense movement of conversion towards Christianity has taken place over the years; indeed, in several of these states, entire populations have been converted.
Most of the major evangelical corporations (like World Vision, Campus Crusade, Youth with a Mission, and Samaritan’s Purse) operate in partnership with the US government in its pursuit of foreign policy goals. World Vision, which is effectively an arm of the State Department, is perhaps the most notable example of this. There is also the benefit of a custom-built legislation, with the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 providing necessary sanction to bring errant nations into line.

This means that evangelisation is an intensely secular pursuit, as well as a religious one. In turn, of course, the secular powers, whether they be departments of state or corporate businesses, find such evangelicals to be very effective partners.

            They are not Catholic.
Modern Baptist churches trace their history to the English Separatist movement in the century after the rise of the original Protestant denominations..
Most Baptist churches tend to be evangelical in doctrine, and vary greatly from extremely conservative to liberal socially and politically.

            • nitha

This is the Evangelicalization of Secular America.
Christian evangelicalism is something to be watched suspiciously and it is a duty of all freedom loving Americans to cry foul when it extends its power. Americans can’t hate Christian evangelicalism because they are neighbors, family, friends…….

Like Lord’s Resistance Army – a brutal rebel group with a mixture of Christian fundamentalist and African traditional beliefs – is a threat to regional security in central Africa and thus a threat to the interests of the US government and its strategic partners.
Christian fundamentalist with Naxalite Dravidian agenda, NTLF in Tripura &Mizo National Front (MNF) in Mizoram – is a threat to regional security in south eastern India.and also a threat to the interests of the US government and its strategic partner i.e.India.

U.S. Congress had passed the Lord’s Resistance Army Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act in 2009, Mr. Obama wrote, “I have authorized a small number of combat-equipped US forces to deploy to central Africa to provide assistance to regional forces that are working toward the removal of Joseph Kony from the battlefield.”

In this way American Congress SHOULD pass the Maoist , National Tripura Liberation Front (NTLF)&Mizo National Front (MNF),Army Disarmament and South –East Asia Recovery Act to the interests its strategic partner i.e.India. TO PROVE ITS SECULARISM.

India’s secularism is a shame upon Hindus only. It is a one way street, with Hindus asked to completely deracinate themselves, deny their Hinduness, while the other side is not only encouraged to assert their Islamic identity, but even pampered when they do so. Wasn’t it our Prime Minister who recently said that “Muslims have the first right to India’s resources.” Can you imagine what a furore it would cause if an Indian PM had said “Hindus have the first right to India’s resources.” And can you even imagine a muslim PM in a muslim country saying about any minority group that it had the first rights to that country’s resources?

          • nitha

This is just a brief synopsis, it is readily seen that Hinduism is in opposition to biblical Christianity on almost every count of its belief system. Christianity has one God who is both personal and knowable (Deuteronomy 6:5; 1 Corinthians 8:6); has one set of Scriptures; teaches that God created the earth and all who live upon it (Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3); believes that man is created in God’s image and lives only once (Genesis 1:27; Hebrews 9:27-28); and teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone (John 3:16; 6:44; 14:6; Acts 4:12). Hinduism as a religious system fails because it fails to recognize Jesus as the uniquely incarnated God-Man and Savior, the one solely sufficient source of salvation for humanity.

            • Jeemon

True. The contrast between Christianity and Hinduism is so stark. In the Bible we read that one third of the angels rebelled and were pushed out of heaven and these one third became evil spirits or demons. One-third out of the wholesome number of 100 is 33.33333 isn’t it? Interestingly, Hindus believe that they have 33.333333 crore gods. Spot on isn’t it, that Hindus are worshipping the demons, the fallen angels!

              • Indian Realist

Of course, the contrast is stark – there is no such thing as Inquisition or slavery in Hinduism (unlike in Bible) and Hindu God doesn’t say sun goes around the earth.

Oh! Jeemon you just cleared my doubt. there is only one God. God is universal!

If god is not in idols, why don’t you piss on a statue of Jesus? Why does Christian God lie that sun goes around earth?

The Bush Doctrine of spreading freedom and human rights has been called today’s version of Manifest Destiny. It presupposes that America must impose its own social and political principles on others, in the others’ best interests.

Any perceived threat to the status quo of privileges and entitlements that Westerners take for granted is sufficient provocation to trigger the revival of Christian fundamentalism. Post-9/11 is seeing the rise of this fundamentalism from its latent state.

            • singh

              @karan,Well said
False information is more dangerous than acknowledgment of one’s ignorance. Most Hindu leaders naively equate Christianity with Catholicism, US Christianity with European Christianity, and see all Christian denominations as being the ‘same’. They lack any past about Christian Liberation Theology, Inculturation strategies, constructive theologies, Christian Zionism, and so forth. When they gleefully quote that church attendance is down in the US, they fail to consider that home based Christian prayer groups have replaced church going in many communities across America, and such groups now represent a major component of fundamentalist Christianity.

I have no doubt you have not read the article given above in my preceding comment. The article was published by an arch-secular paper in India not by any RSS paper. But like your criminal missionary akas you Christians are good at the art of barking but pathetically poor in citing authentic facts. I challenge you to rebut any of the facts mentioned in the article.

          • @Jeemon
I am quite disappointed. Your 1st comment on this page was though humourus, but appeared to be a rational response too. But your subsequent comments are as bigoted as that of your opponents on this page. Christian bigotry is no answer to Hindu bigotry. If there is a God, anybody’s God, he is strong enough to defend himself. He doesn’t need internet army of defenders of his faith. Regards.

How very convenient to call attack on a Hindu Temple as a protest against Army. Media, psuedo-intellectuals will never tell the truth about Monotheists. The religious philosophy which believes in only their book being right and others wrong is considered “Secular” and Hindu scriptures who follow plurality and allow people to worship anyone as long as they follow path of righteousness is considered “Communal.”

Thanks to the Christian/Islamist backed so called opinion makers, media, academia, etc we have reduced Hindus to second class citizens in their own homeland. Before the Khanchris brigade jumps to write, let the read a few things mentioned below :

    1. Why was history altered to suit Islamic tastes – meaning why the truth about torture/loot/inhuman aggression of Islamic conquests never told in our history.
    2. Why it was equated with imaginary attack on Buddhists by Hindus.
    3. Why are minority institutions allowed special status when majority students are non minority.
    4. How can they preach their religion in such institutes.
    5. Why no one talks of support to Christian conversion by Khanchris CMs
    6. Why no one talks about attack on Hindu preachers in Christian dominated areas
    7. Why no one talks about loudspeakers of mosques which are specially placed to ensure sound reaches far & wide
    8. Why no one talks about the very nature of monotheists of destroying society/ places of worship on non-monotheists or of other religions.
    9. Why no one talks that a huge majority of hindus converted to islam during mughal period due to State aggression and violence.
    10. The list is long …….

Secular media will not debate such things at all…

Wish Nathu Ram Godse had killed Gandhi and Nehru much earlier ….

@Jeemon, the real fight is between the followers of three intolerant West Asian Religions. Each one of them wants to prove theirs is the ONLY true God. All others are caught in the cross fire. Pl don’t drag the Pagans/Heathens/Kafirs into your fight. You fight and finish each other.

@ cynical, >>>>It’s not just last 70 years. You were caught unaware many years before and more than once. Md Bin Qasim, Ghaznavi, Lodhis, Abdalis, Babur, Taimur, Nadir Shah, Lord Clive and even Ajmal Kasab caught you unaware>>>> who all are included in this “you” you are referring to? Does it include your ancestors also? Where are they all? Have we not sent from the places from where they came lock stock and barrel? Do you know what happened to “Md Bin Qasim”?? Even Ajmal Kasab was hanged like a mad dog and his accomplices were also shot dead like mad dogs.

    • And despite of such heroics the monotheists (the Muslims and Britishers) ruled us for nearly 800 years. Looks like our mighty ancient gods of Bramha, Vishnu, Maheswar were in deep slumber, all the cacophony of Bhajan singings, Yagnas, Prayers and recital of powerful mantras couldn’t wake them up. The poor God Rama couldn’t even protect his birthplace, how can he could protect his bhakts and their land from the mlechchhas?

So now superiority of arms and war drills have become a proof of superiority of religion? If a mad dog bites a human, does it mean the dog’s lifestyle and beliefs are superior to humans? Does a street thug, who shoots a Noble-prize winner, superior to him in intellect and culture? Monotheism appeals to the reptilian brain of humans and monotheists become animal-like and regress into reverse evolution. (The Sanskrit word for this is Pischach — a human with animal-like tendencies because the reptilian side of the brain has become dominant.) The only motivation left in monotheists is war mongering (like a mad dog going around biting others). That is why they often manage to beat peaceful but advanced societies which have evolved, refined and risen higher than merely being governed by the reptilian (animal) side of the brain.

Exactly ! Ancient Rome fell to christian barbarians, and Indians could only pay back the muslim barbarians after a thousand years of invasions. Highly developed and civilized societies need to understand these barbaric cults and their primal beliefs.

Faced with unpalatable but no nonsense questions like a dog you run away from the scene with your tail between your legs. Every time you try to expose your pathetic and Marxist understanding of History, politics, religion and culture you have been slapped on your face. So, when you find nothing you just harp on your pet lore of ridiculing Hindu Devas and Devis. After all you take sadistic pleasure in hurting Hindu sentiments.

Further, you run for cover when you are asked to adduce evidence to prove that there is prescription for beef eating in the Vedas. Similarly, you have singularly failed to bring home the point that the Bible and the Koran are religious scriptures and not war manuals.
Despite that you have never cured yourself of your anti-Hinduness. And as is your Marxist monotheistic wont you, when fail to counter in any way us Hindus , resort to the cheap tactic of defiling and denigrating our Devas and Devis. Vivekananda’s explanation on idol worship and many GODs theory of Hinduism

I have just taken a small excerpt of Vivekananda’s speech at World Parliament of Religion on Chicago, 19th September 1893…..

Superstition is a great enemy of man, but bigotry is worse. Why does a Christian go to church? Why is the cross holy? Why is the face turned toward the sky in prayer? Why are there so many images in the Catholic Church? Why are there so many images in the minds of Protestants when they pray? My brethren, we can Do more think about anything without a mental image than we can live without breathing- By the law of association the material image calls up the mental idea and vice versa. This is why the Hindu uses an external symbol when he worships. He will tell you. it helps to keep his mind fixed on the Being to whom he prays. He knows as well as you do that the image is not God, is not omnipresent. finer all, how much does omnipresence mean to almost the whole world? It stands merely as a word, a symbol. Has God superficial area? If not, when we repeat that word ‘omnipresent’, we think of the extended sky. or of space – that is all.

As we find that somehow or other, by the laws of our mental constitution, we have to associate our ideas of infinity with the image of the blue sky, or of the sea, so we naturally connect our idea of holiness with the image of a church, a mosque, or a cross. The Hindus have associated the ideas of holiness, purity, truth, omnipresence, and such other ideas with different images and forms. But with this difference that while some people devote their whole lives to their idol of a church and never rise higher, because with them religion means an intellectual assent to certain doctrines and doing good to their fellows, the whole religion of the Hindu is centered in realization. Man is to become divine by realizing the divine. Idols or temples or churches or books are only the supports, the helps, of his spiritual childhood; but on and on he must progress.

He must not stop anywhere. ‘External worship, material worship’ ?,’ say the scriptures, ‘is the lowest stage,’ struggling to rise high, mental prayer is the next stage, but the highest stage is when the Lord has been realized., Mark, the same earnest man who is kneeling before the idol tells you, ‘Him the sun cannot express, nor the moon, nor the stars, the lightning cannot express Him, nor what we speak of as fire; through Him they shine.’ But he does not abuse anyone’s idol or call its worship sin. He recognizes in it a necessary stage of life. ‘The child is father of the man.’ Would it be right for an old man to say that childhood is a sin or youth a sin?

If a man can realize his divine nature with the help of an image, would it be right to call that a sin? Nor, even when he has passed that stage, should he call it an error. To the Hindu, man is not traveling from error to truth, but from truth to truth, from lower to higher truth. To him all the religions from the lowest fetishism to the highest absolutism, mean so many attempts of the human soul to grasp and realize the Infinite, each determined by the conditions of its birth and association, and each of these marks a stage of progress; and every soul is a young eagle soaring higher and higher, gathering more and more strength till it reaches the Glorious Sun.

Unity in variety is the plan of nature, and the Hindu has recognized it. Every other religion lays down certain fixed dogmas and tries to force society to adopt them. It places before society only one coat which must fit Jack and John and Henry, all alike. If it does not fit John or Henry he must go without a coat to cover his body. The Hindus have discovered that the absolute can only be realized, or thought of, or stated through the relative, and the images, crosses, and crescents are simply so many symbols – so many pegs to hang spiritual ideas on. It is not that this help is necessary for everyone, but those that do not need it have no right to say that it is wrong. Nor is it compulsory in Hinduism.

One thing I must tell you. Idolatry in India does not mean anything horrible. It is not the mother of harlots. On the other hand, it is the attempt of undeveloped minds to grasp high spiritual truths. The Hindus have their faults, they sometimes have their exceptions; but mark this, they are always for punishing their own bodies, and never for cutting the throats of their neighbors. If the Hindu fanatic burns himself on the pyre, he never lights the fire of Inquisition. And even this cannot be laid at the door of his religion any more than the burning of witches can be laid at the door of Christianity.

To the Hindu, then, the whole world of religions is only a traveling, a coming up, of different men and women, through various conditions and circumstances, to the same goal. Every religion is only evolving a God out of the material man, and the same God is the inspirer of all of them. Why, then, are there so many contradictions? They are only apparent, says the Hindu. The contradictions come from the same truth adapting itself to the varying circumstances of different natures.

It is the same light coming through glasses of different colors- And these little variations are necessary for purposes of adaptation. But in the heart of everything the same truth reigns. The Lord has declared to the Hindu in His incarnation as Krishna: ‘I am in every religion as the thread through a string of pearls. Wherever thou seest extraordinary holiness and extraordinary power raising and purifying humanity, know thou that I am there. ‘ And what has been the result? I challenge the world to find, throughout the whole system of Sanskrit philosophy, any such expression as that the Hindu alone will be saved and not others. Says Vyasa, ‘we find perfect men even beyond the pale of our caste and creed.’ One thing more. How, then, can the Hindu, whose whole fabric of thought centers in God, believe in Buddhism which is agnostic, or in Jainism which is atheistic?

The Buddhists or the Jains do not depend upon God; but the whole force of their religion is directed to the great central truth in every religion, to evolve a God out of man. They have not seen the Father, but they have seen the Son. And he that hath seen the Son bath seen the Father also. ..”

Descend we now from the aspirations of philosophy to the religion of the ignorant. At the very outset, I may tell you that there is no polytheism in India. In every temple, if one stands by and listens, one will find the worshipers applying all the attributes of God, including omnipresence. to the images. It is not polytheism, nor would the name henotheism explain the situation.

‘The rose, called by any other name, would smell as sweet.’ Names are not explanations.

I remember, as a boy, hearing a Christian missionary preach to crowd in India. Among other sweet things he was telling them was, that if he gave a blow to their idol with his stick. what could it do? One of his hearers sharply answered, ‘If I abuse your God, what can He do?’ ‘ou would be punished,’ said the preacher, ‘when you die.’ ‘So my idol will punish you when you die,’ retorted the Hindu.

The tree is known by its fruits. When l have seen amongst them that are called idolaters, men, the like of whom, in morality and spirituality and love, I have never seen anywhere, l stop and ask myself, ‘Can sin beget holiness?’ ..”

”In all the world,” writes Schroedinger in his book, My View of the World (chapter iv), “there is no kind of framework within which we can find consciousness in the plural; this is simply something we construct because of the temporal plurality of individuals, but it is a false construction….The only solution to this conflict insofar as any is available to us at all lies in the ancient wisdom of the Upanishad.”

Religious faith in the case of the Hindus has never been allowed to run counter to scientific laws, moreover the former is never made a condition for the knowledge they teach, but there are always scrupulously careful to take into consideration the possibility that by reason both the agnostic and atheist may attain truth in their own way. Such tolerance may be surprising to religious believers in the West, but it is an integral part of Vedantic belief.

Standing outside of Cern, which houses the large Hadron collider in Geneva is a statue of the Hindu God Shiva. Shiva is the destroyer or transformer of the world, following Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver. Shiva’s dance is the cosmic cycle of creation and destruction, and even describes the way that particles arise and transform; a perfect analogy for what Cern is trying to accomplish— to unlock the secrets of the Universe or as a person of faith might put it, to know the mind of God, the Universe or Brahman.

Sage Kanad (circa 600 BCE) is recognized as the founder of atomic theory, and classified all the objects of creation into nine elements (earth, water, light or fire, wind, ether, time, space, mind and soul). He stated that every object in creation is made of atoms that in turn connect with each other to form molecules nearly 2,500 years before John Dalton. Further, Kanad described the dimension and motion of atoms, and the chemical reaction with one another.
The eminent historian, T.N. Colebrook said, “Compared to scientists of Europe, Kanad and other Indian scientists were the global masters in this field.”

Dr. Carl Sagan, (1934-1996) famous astrophysicist, in his book, Cosmos, says: “The Hindu religion is the only one of the world’s great faiths dedicated to the idea that the Cosmos itself undergoes an immense, indeed an infinite, number of deaths and rebirths. It is the only religion in which the time scales correspond to those of modern scientific cosmology.“

Describing the Nataraja, Lord Shiva in the form of cosmic dancer, he says: “These profound and lovely images are, I like to imagine, a kind of premonition of modern astronomical ideas.” Sagan continues, “A millennium before Europeans were willing to divest themselves of the Biblical idea that the world was a few thousand years old, the Mayans were thinking of millions and the Hindus billions.”

In the television series “Cosmos”, he acknowledges that of all the world’s philosophies and religions those originating in India are remarkably consistent with contemporary scenarios of space, time and existence.

“Amid all the beliefs of Europe, and of Asia, that of the Indian Brahmins seems to me infinitely the most alluring. And the reason why I love the Brahmin more than the other schools of Asiatic thought is because it seems to me to contain them all. Greater than all European philosophies, it is even capable of adjusting itself to the vast hypotheses of modern science. Our Christian religions have tried in vain, when there were no other choice open to them, to adapt themselves to the progress of science. But after having allowed myself to be swept away by the powerful rhythm of Brahmin thought, along the curve or life, with its movement of alternating ascent and return, I come back to my own century, and while finding therein the immense projections of a new cosmogony, offspring of the genius of Einstein, or deriving freely from the discoveries, I yet do not feel that I enter a strange land. I yet can hear resounding still the cosmic symphony of all those planets which forever succeed each other, are extinguished and once more illumined, with their living souls, their humanities, their gods – according to the laws of the eternal To Become, the Brahmin Samsara – I hear Siva dancing, dancing in the heart of the world, in my own heart.” – Romain Rolland

Seinderberg has for instance proven than the Egyptians pyramids were built using ancient vedic mathematics known as “Sulbasutras”; Egyptians considered that their God Osiris, whose concept is derived from one of the stories described in the Puranas, had come from India mounted on a bull (nandi). Greek philosophy, which is the founding stone for western Culture recognised that it hads borrowed heavily from India: German philosopher Shroeder had discovered in the 18th century that most of the philosophical or mathematical doctrines attributed to Pyhtagore were derived from Indian philosophical systems. French historian Alain Danielou had noticed that the structure of the catholic church resembles that of buddhist Chaitya and that many events surrounding the life of Christ are borrowed from buddhist and krishnaïtes stories. Nietzsche, who knew the Vedas and Manu’s laws, is the last of Europe’s great philosophers to speak highly “ of the great tradition of Brahmanism”. But after his death, the memory of a greater India slowly fades from philosophers’ writings and history books and is replaced by a negation of India’s great influence on the world. Spiritually, the temples are like launching pads where one performs those activities that assist in reaching higher dimensions. They are the doorways to more advanced realms and where pilgrims and devotees go to make an outward display of their devotion to their Deities. Though God is within us all, and religion or yoga is very often an inward process, God can manifest externally as the Deity, the arca-vigraha incarnation, through which He accepts the devotee’s service while he or she is in the material realm. These devotional activities, such as simple darshan (seeing the Deity and being seen by the Deity), are considered purifying for one’s life and consciousness. The goal is to continue on this path until one’s thoughts are purified to the point where one sheds his or her materialistic consciousness and can enter the spiritual realm, at least by the time of death if not before. Thus, everyone tries to visit the nearest temple a few times a day, or tries to make pilgrimages to the famous holy places. The temples usually have a main shrine with smaller temples or shrines surrounding it. These shrines may have murtis or carved images of important spiritual masters, or deities of various demigods, such as Parvati (Lord Shiva’s wife), Durga (the warrior aspect of Parvati, sometimes called Kali, Tara, etc.), Sarasvati (goddess of knowledge and intelligence), Lakshmi (goddess of fortune, Lord Vishnu’s wife), Ganesh (a son of Shiva, said to destroy obstacles and offer good luck), Murugan (meaning divine child, the Tamil name for Subramaniya, another son of Shiva, especially worshiped in the South), Brahma (born from Lord Vishnu and who engineered the creation of the living beings within the universe), and Shiva (the benevolent one, part of the triad of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva who continually create, maintain, and destroy the universe), and Deities of the Supreme, such as Vishnu (incarnation of the Supreme appearing as the All-pervading One, the preserver or maintainer of the universe), or Krishna (the Supreme Being, source of all other incarnations, such as Rama, Vishnu, Narasimha, etc.). The temple is usually dedicated to a particular form of God or demigod which you will find on the main altar. It is explained that the Deity is not a product of someone’s imagination, but is made in accordance with the ancient Vedic texts, called the Shilpasutras, which deal with the science of iconography. Everything about the Deity, such as its proportions, the postures, hand gestures, weapons (if any), the emblems, etc., all mean something. Therefore, it is very important that every part of the Deity is formed properly. The Deity may also have different features which represent different aspects, abilities, powers, or pastimes. After the Deity is formed, there is the elaborate installation ceremony during which the Deity is installed in the temple. At this time the devotees and priests petition the personality of the demigod or Supreme Being to take up residence in the form of the Deity. Only then does the Deity become the arca-vigraha, or worshipable incarnation of the Supreme Being or particular demigod. It is considered that since God is the controller of both material and spiritual energies, He can turn something material into spiritual energy or vice versa. Thus, the Deity, which may appear to be made of common material elements, becomes spiritual and allows us to see spiritual form with our material senses. Out of the causeless mercy of the Supreme, He agrees to reside within the form of the Deity to accept the worship of His devotees. Of course, we should not think He is forced to remain there. If He is neglected or if harm is allowed to come to the Deity, He may leave the form of the Deity at any time. There are many stories in both traditional Vedic writings and local legends that relate how various Deities have reciprocated with devotees. Such relations have taken place in dreams as well as in the awakened state in which the Deity has come to life to show Himself as He is or partake in pastimes with His devotees. There are also some instances when Krishna or Shiva spontaneously manifested themselves as stone Deities. Such Deities are called self-manifested because they were not formed by any artist or priest. Lord Venkateshvara at Tirupati, Vishvanatha Shiva at Varanasi, and several Krishna Deities at Vrindavan are a few examples of this. Of course, most Westerners of little faith cannot explain such occurrences, and can hardly accept that the Supreme would exhibit Himself in this way. They would rather look for some “logical” or non-mystical explanation for such things. But for the devoted and the sages who have glimpsed and understand the spiritual dimensions of existence, the Deities are a reality. Even if one cannot accept the concept of Deities, then even in the most abstract sense the images, such as in Buddhism, represent cosmic principles which affect us all. Therefore, they remain a part of the reality we experience at every moment. In this way, the temples are the places where one can see and even experience the Divine. Furthermore, many of the temples are built at locations where ancient historical or holy events involving the incarnations of God or the demigods have occurred. Such temples give evidence for the legends that are described in the Puranas which explain how the Supreme Being appeared there. Therefore, these sites become very sacred, even spiritualized for having been the site of the pastimes of the Supreme. It is for this reason that people can acquire great spiritual merit by visiting these places. Thus, these sites become important centers on the pilgrimage routes for many of the devout. In this way, the temples are the most significant of the surviving monuments where religious, social, cultural, and, in many cases, political aspects of history have been preserved. Historically, the temples were also major centers for education. The larger ones would maintain priests and students for the recitation of the Puranic texts to the people at large. Thus, both literate or illiterate people could be provided with a cultural education. The villages, however, had schools for basic study and learning, but beyond that the temples often had libraries full of books from all branches of learning and teachers who taught all these subjects. The temples also served as centers for the arts since they would employ many artists to paint scenes from the Puranic legends or carve beautiful sculptures. There were also jewelers and goldsmiths who would make articles for the Deities. Musicians and singers were also employed, and dancing girls would perform exotic dances in times of worship, especially during festivals. The larger temples had hospitals and doctors and areas for feeding and caring for the poor and destitute. In order to do all this, the temples consumed large amounts of fruits and grains. Thus, the temples were given plots of land that were used mostly by the farmers for growing food for the offerings in the temples. These offerings, however, would then be redistributed amongst the temple employees and the poor. The temples also had systems of banking. Thus, with such a variety of activity centered around them, the temples played a very important part in Indian culture. After we have traveled through India, and if we have been able to connect with the spiritual side of it, the experience will certainly influence us in a special way. In fact, on some level we will never be the same. If we have traveled with a seeker’s humility and a quest for higher experiences, then some of us who have gone on this journey will have attained glimpses into the visions of the sages and viewed similar levels of higher reality. The effects and memories of such encounters will stay with us forever and, thus, change our lives. This is priceless experience.[Stephen Knapp]

Monotheist’s psychotic hatred of “idol worshipping” is a sign of unevolved minds. They don’t give any reason why images of God are bad but work themselves into a frenzy because their prophet / son of god told them so. The real reason is something else — their prophet / church were struggling for acceptability from the populace which was strongly rooted in their independent spiritual traditions that involved temples (both Arabs and Romans used to worship in temples with images of deities). The reason for hatred of “idol worship” was to prohibit people from going to their temples and pull them into the newly invented church / mosque. It was just a rabid opposition to the dominant spiritual practice of their times and turn people towards the desert religion that had just been invented. If the dominant spiritual practice would have been to worship God without images, the same prophet / church would have banned it and declared that only idol worship was the way to establish a direct connection with God. They were just trying to differentiate themselves from the competitor by taking the opposite paradigm.

Monotheism is no religion and have nothing to do with spiritualism- the art of inner exploration. It is an imperialist ideology, a political crusade that wants the complete elimination of the religion and culture of the land which it has had an eye to occupy. It is very simple to understand why the followers of monotheism destroys the indigenous culture and religion of the world they occupy. No autocrat likes any opposition to his rule. The monotheists know that as long as the populace of an occupied land remains rooted in their culture and religion they will continue to oppose an alien autocratic ruler . So the ghastly idea of conversion.

          • Christian missionaries should return to their countries (U.S., Europe, etc) and clean up the mess that is there, serve the people there, and do their Christian worship there. Leave India alone.

That’s not their history, they screwed North America, South America after they were done with Europe, and it’s the turn of Asia now. They can’t play their games in the ME, with the third Abrahamic blood thirsty cult firmly established, and China was wise enough to start it’s own christian cult.

Eastern Lightning is a cult offshoot of Christianity in China. The official name for the group is the Church of Almighty God . The Protestant group China for Jesus has estimated that Eastern Lightning adherents may number upwards of 1 million. Provincial security officials in China have characterized the church as “a social cancer and a plague on humankind.”
t is also known as Seven Spirits Sect Second Saviour Sect ,New Power Lord’s Church , True Light Sect , and True Way Sect .

The group was founded in 1989 in Heilongjiang Province by Zhao Weishan. They believe that God has returned to earth as a woman, “born to an ordinary family in the Northern part of China” to guide mankind for the third and last time. According to the group, the first and second times of active guidance of mankind were as Jehovah of the Old Testament and as Jesus in the New Testament.

The group teaches that a woman self-styled “Lightning Deng” from Zhengzhou, Henan, is the second Christ. Her most widely distributed book, Lightning from the Orient proclaims itself the Word of God. The book claimed the first coming of Christ was to redeem humanity, while the second is to conquer men’s hearts and defeat Satan. Those who do not accept her words would die a terrible death or receive severe punishment.
The belief is expressed in Eastern Lightning’s literature that the world will end on December 21, 2012, a date used by other eschatological religious and spiritual groups.
The Chinese government lists the group as a “cult” and has actively tried to suppress it, especially since its millenarian theology tends to take an explicitly anti-government stance. They are known to employ extreme methods to attain converts targeting Christians.
They have been cited kidnapping, torturing, and brainwashing their victims into conversion. In 2002, for instance, they kidnapped 34 of the leading members of the China Gospel Fellowship and held them for two months.

Eastern Lightning, one of China’s most aggressive millenarian sects, believes that Christ has been reincarnated as a woman in central China and is on a mission to lead the faithful in a decisive battle to slay the “great red dragon” of the Communist party.

The discovery of an ancient Vishnu idol in an excavation in Russia confirms certain ideas :

The report says that the area in which the idol was found is called Staraya Maina. In the Rig Veda, there is a passage that goes, Itham ascati pasyat syantham, ekam starayath mainaa-kaalam. This translates into Staraya Maina is the name of the land of the 45 rivers (on whose banks the noble Rishis conducted the famous Horse Sacrifices), where the sun god descends into one fifty two forty seven. While the first line identifies a location, the second line talks about the exact latitude and longitude at which the solar spectrum produces interference lines at one, fifty two, and forty seven.
The extreme precision of the calculations show the advanced science of the Vedic period, and also a thorough knowledge of SI units (it has been conclusively proven that French scientists stole the system from the Indians.

The discovery of the idol confirms the location in Russia, identified in the Rig Veda as rus soviath sapthamahanagaratham (the ancient and holy land of the 722 flying vehicles). The ancient connections between the Russians and the Indians has been unequivocally confirmed.
In Russian orthodox Christianity, worship is conducted very much like in Vishnu temples. The Russians refer to the feast of Vizhnyir Ekoratsya Vikhunh, directly corresponding with Vaikhunda Ekhadasi.

@Cynical don’t for a second think that the Constitution of our country is saving you bunch of fanatic retarded people. It is just Hindu toleration that allows you bunch of morons to continue with your dangerous conversion activities. However, that is wearing thin. If I speak with 50 HIndus at random and ask them about their comments about your illicit activities, make sure that all 50 of them are against you bunch. This includes people who may even support the Congress Communists. They include Brahmins, Thakurs, forward caste, backward caste. I belong to the same caste as Phoolan Devi. People of my caste traditionally vote for Congress or SP. Yet, when one person from my village converted during his stay in Mumbai, his family boycotted him. No one would give his girl in marriage to such a person. And there is so much hatred towards you people, that if you don’t put a halt to your activities, day is not far when revolution will take place and all Hindus from all castes are going to ban all your missions. Mark my words, its going to happen. We Hindus want a Hindu Rashtra. And mind you, I am not from RSS and never attended their shakha.

      The Fundamentalist Baptist against Catholicism
“Biblical Separation is the Bible’s clear command that true Christians are to remain separate from all personal, social, and ecclesiastical relationships with those who call themselves Christians, but want to live a life of sin. Fundamentalist Baptists therefore remain separate from apostate Protestantism as well remaining separate from The Great Whore of Roman Catholicism mentioned in Chapter 17 of the Book of Revelation

Mary (the mother of Jesus) is not the great whore; Catholicism’s Mother Mary (the Catholic religion) is the Great Whore!
“For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore (Roman Catholicism), which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.” ―Revelation 19:2)

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists (Popes and priests); whereby we know that it is the last time” ―1st John 2:18

The Roman Catholic Church claims to have started in Matthew 16:18 when Christ supposedly appointed Peter as the first Pope. However, the honest and objective student of the Scriptures and history soon discovers that the foundation of the Roman church is none other than the pagan mystery religion of ancient Babylon.

While enduring the early persecutions of the Roman government (65-300 A.D.), most of professing Christianity went through a gradual departure from New Testament doctrine concerning church government, worship and practice.
Local churches ceased to be autonomous by giving way to the control of “bishops” ruling over hierarchies. The simple form of worship from the heart was replaced with the rituals and splendor of paganism. Ministers became “priests,” and pagans became “Christians” by simply being sprinkled with water. This tolerance of an unregenerate membership only made things worse. SPRINKLED PAGANISM is about the best definition for Roman Catholicism.

The Roman Emperor Constantine established himself as the head of the church around 313 A.D., which made this new “Christianity” the official religion of the Roman Empire.

This is anti Hinduism as well as anti-Catholicism .
The first, derived from the theological heritage of the Protestant Reformation and the religious wars of the sixteenth century, consisted of the Biblical “Anti-Christ” and the “Whore of Babylon” variety and dominated anti-Catholic thought until the late seventeenth century. This is better known as Dominion theology

The second type was a secular variety which focused on the alleged intrigues (illegitimate &harmful )of Catholic states which were hostile to both Marxism and Classical Liberalism. This is better known as Liberation theology
This is the ideology of National Tripura Liberation Front(NTLF) of Tripura,Mizo National Front (MNF) of Mizoram and Maoism communist Party of India(better known as Private army of Chattisgarh, NAXALISM) in Andhra Pradesh,Maharashtra,Jharkhand,Orissa provinces of India.

    In Orissa
In 2007 a tribal spiritual Hindu monk, Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati, accused Radhakant Nayak, chief of a local chapter of World Vision, and a former Rajya Sabha member from Odisha in the Indian National Congress party, of plotting to assassinate him.
The Swami also said that World Vision was covertly pumping money into India for religious conversion during the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, and criticized the activities of Christian missionaries as going against tribal beliefs.
In 2008, he was gunned down along with four disciples on the Hindu festive day of Krishna Janmashtami by a group of 30–40 armed men. Later, Maoist terrorist leader Sabyasachi Panda admitted responsibility for the assassination, saying that the Maoists had intervened in the religious dispute on behalf of Christians and Dalits.
The non-governmental organization Justice on Trial disputed that there had been Maoist involvement, and quoted the Swami as claiming that Christian missionaries had earlier attacked him eight times.
    In Tripura
The National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), a rebel group operating in Tripura, North-East India, has been described as engaging in terrorist violence motivated by their Christian beliefs. The NLFT is currently proscribed as a terrorist organization in India. It is classified by the National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism as one of the ten most active terrorist groups in the world, and has been accused of forcefully converting people to Christianity.
The state government reports that the Baptist Church of Tripura supplies arms and gives financial support to the NLFT. In April 2000, the secretary of the Noapara Baptist Church in Tripura, Nagmanlal Halam, was arrested with a large quantity of explosives.
He confessed to illegally buying and supplying explosives to the NLFT for two years. The NLFT has threatened to kill Hindus celebrating the annual five-day religious festival of Durga Puja and other religious celebrations. At least 20 Hindus in Tripura have been killed by the NLFT in two years for resisting forced conversion to Christianity. A leader of the Jamatia tribe, Rampada Jamatia, said that armed NLFT militants were forcibly converting tribal villagers to Christianity, which he said was a serious threat to Hinduism. It is believed that as many as 5,000 tribal villagers were converted over two years. These forcible conversions to Christianity, sometimes including the use of “rape as a means of intimidation,” have also been noted by academics outside of India.
In early 2000, 16 Bengali Hindus were killed by the NLFT at Gourangatilla. On May 20, 2000, the NLFT killed 25 Bengali Hindus at the Bagber refugee camp. In August 2000, a tribal Hindu spiritual leader, Shanti Kali, was shot dead by about ten NLFT guerrillas who said it wanted to convert all people in the state to Christianity. In December 2000, Labh Kumar Jamatia, a religious leader of the state’s second largest Hindu group, was kidnapped by the NLFT, and found dead in a forest in Dalak village in southern Tripura. According to police, rebels from the NLFT wanted Jamatia to convert to Christianity, but he refused.A local Marxist tribal leader, Kishore Debbarma, was clubbed to death in Tripura’s Sadar by militants from the Biswamohan faction of the NLFT in May 2005.His body was found with multiple head injuries in a roadside ditch in the Katabon area.
    In Nagaland
The insurgency in Nagaland was originally led by the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), and it is continued today by a faction named “NSCN–Isaac Muivah”, which explicitly calls for a “Nagalim for Christ”.

John Joseph, the Christian representative of the National Minority Commission, stated in 2000 that foreign funds used for Christian terrorism in the northeast are routed through Christians in Kerala.

    In Assam:
In Assam in 2009, the Manmasi National Christian Army (MNCA), an extremist group from the Hmar tribe, were charged with forcing Hindus to convert at gunpoint. Seven or more Hmar youths were charged with visiting Bhuvan Pahar, a Hindu village, armed with guns, and pressuring residents to convert to Christianity. They also desecrated temples by painting crosses on the walls with their blood. The Sonai police, along with the 5th Assam Rifles, arrested 13 members of the MNCA, including their commander-in-chief. Guns and ammunition were seized.

@Cynical, below are some sites which show what children learn in madrasas, they are also about Pakistan and Bangladesh. Remember the roots of Pakistani madrasas are in Deoband. Even the Taliban leadership studied in Deobandi inspired madrasas in Pakistan. Osama bin Laden was also inspired by the same. Madrasas in India and elsewhere are breeding ground for jehad and terrorism.
