About

Hi!! Thanks for stopping by.

I am an Indian nationalist who is willing to call a spade a spade. I am a hard-nosed realist who abhors political correctness and brushing things under the carpet because people are uncomfortable talking about inconvenient or ugly things. I have no use for political correctness or being tolerant with the intolerant in the name of tolerance. I believe in the dictum: “Jaise Ko Taisa” (Do to Others What they are Doing to You). Goodwill in return for goodwill. Mischief in return for mischief. War in return for war. You will never fail with this strategy.

Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Veer Savarkar, Aurobindo Ghosh, Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, Chanakya and Vivekananda are my heroes. To become like them is what all Indians should aspire for.

“Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.” — Karl Popper, British philosopher

  • Great to have discovered this blog…I’m sure, its gonna be an informative and interesting experience.

  • Holy Mother of God man . Where were you ? “Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Veer Savarkar, Aurobindo Ghosh, Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, Chanakya and Vivekananda are my heroes. To become like them is what all Indians should aspire for.” Absolutely . This country is only obsessed with Bapu and his ways . Seems like the other Heroes you mentioned were never here at all . And I would include Mahapurush Bhagat Singh in this list as well . I am looking forward to some great blogging on your blog . I loved the couple of posts I read .

  • Wish you all the best! :-)

  • Keep it up

More than an hundred year ago, Swami Vivekananda warned us about the missionaries, we did not take any notice and now we are paying the price.
It were the activities of Netaji which led to the independence of India.Netaji Bose was isolated by cunny Gandhi and Nehru. Nehru declared Netaji as a war-criminal.(Back from dead by Anuj Dhar.)Muslim Indians pretended, they could not live with Hindus, country was divided, one part went to Muslims, other part to anti-Hindu Nehru dynasty, Nehru called himself,”a Muslim by culture, Hindu by accident.”He had cheek to declare himself as “the last Englishman to rule India.”

  • “…The reality is that the mainstream media are thoroughly corrupt — manifesting itself in a lack of both conscientiousness and honor — which leads to incompetence and duplicity. It deals in half-truths, the suppression of facts, the exaltation of evil and savaging of the sublime, and outright lies all the time…”
“…This is tragic because the media have a sacred trust. It’s a cliché, but it’s said that knowledge is power, and the media are the relaters of knowledge. In fact, we rely on them for even fairly basic information about current events and the world…”
“…Without a vibrant media, we cannot have a vigilant populace…”
“…Unfortunately, also powerful is misinformation, as it engenders a misshapen world view. For how can people make correct decisions regarding what policies and politicians to support if they aren’t given correct information? Why would they defend the good if they were lead to believe it was bad and fight the bad if they were lead to believe it was good?…”
“… If you convince people that the symptoms are something they’re not, they will make the wrong diagnosis and prescribe a drug that doesn’t treat what truly ails us but often has some very nasty side effects. …”
“…Our matrix media (along with academia and the popular culture) has constructed an all-encompassing faux reality that cannot truly be understood unless you step outside of it. For the average person this means, first, being willing to question all his basic suppositions about political and social reality, as these have been shaped by the matrix media. The second requirement is to embark upon a Reality 101 course on the Internet, where the wheat can at least be found amidst the chaff. You see, unlike the movie, our virtual world is in a way more real than the “real” world…”
“…In truth, what is so dangerous about the matrix media isn’t so much that they’re akin to a cabal of calculating sentient programs but that they cannot think outside the box themselves. They are like an insane man who knows nothing of the world beyond his insane asylum and thus can relate only insanity. You might say they have become one with their mistaken notions….”
“…Some may say that since the media deny us the information necessary to render good decisions, it’s not fair to claim that people get the government they deserve. But it must be remembered that people get the media they deserve, too….”
“…So journalism isn’t dead — not any more than the readership, anyway. It’s just that those practicing the authentic variety are seldom elected to high office.”

The above are the opinion of an american about american media(http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/01/the_artificial_reality_of_the.html).
But it is, surprisingly, quite valid in the case of Indian media too(and the European media as well, I guess).
The issue of concern is that the media all over the world appears to be not trustworthy. Is it deliberate or mere coincidence?

Marxist thinker Gramsci advocated the concept of cultural hegemony to establish totalitarian Communist regime(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_hegemony)-

” .. Gramsci argued for a strategic distinction between a “war of position” and a “war of manoeuvre”. The war of position is a culture war in which anti-capitalist elements seek to gain a dominant voice in mass media, mass organizations, and educational institutions to heighten class consciousness, teach revolutionary analysis and theory, and inspire revolutionary organization. Following the success of the war of position, communist leaders would be empowered to begin the war of manoeuvre, the actual insurrection against capitalism, with mass support….”

The Christian Missionaries in mass media, pseudo-liberal Muslims in mass organizations/NGOs and Marxists in educational institutions have won Gramsci’s ‘war of position’, yet the Hindus do not realise it.

  • Incognito, very insightful post, especially about the “war of position and war of manoeuvre.” The commies have grown old taking positions in their “war of position” because their war of manoeuvre is being contested by our CRPF. I do not see “war of manoeuvre” reaching fruition any time soon. “Lal Kila Pe Lal Jhanda” will remain a pipe dream of pot bellied and balding Bengali commies.

  • Hello and congratulations for a wonderful blog. I am a fellow Nationalist Indian, and look forward to reading a lot more of your stuff in the future, and will often link to your articles on my blog (mibodeguitadelmedio.blogspot.com) if thats alright with you! Keep up the great work!

  • Hi Nam: Thx for the good words. Pls feel free to link to this blog.

  • Namaste!

I am with you! Actually, I think a court action in Canada against World Vision for misleading advertising is an ‘idea whose time has come’. I have forwarded your piece on World Vision’s covert missionary activities to Dr. David Frawley (Vamadeva), a well known writer on all things Hindu and someone who is deeply concerned by the nefarious activities of prosyletizers among India’s poor and dispossessed.

I have written the following letter and sent it to numerous newspapers. My intent is to stir things up outside of India. Canada has laws concerning false advertising, of which it appears World Vision is guilty. This battle will be better won if it is fought both inside and outside of India, particularly in the wealthier nations of North America and Europe:

    Dear Editor,

I am a Canadian and what I don’t understand is why the government of India tolerates any form of organized religious prosyletizing anywhere within the frontiers of India.

Given the nature of India and her history; given the fact that Hinduism is not a religion that seeks to convert others (in other words, does not enter into competition with the Christians or Muslims); given the fact that Hinduism is more or less contained within India (there really is no pan-Hinduism, as there is pan-Islam and pan-Christianity); given the fact that Hinduism, in addition to being a network of closely related spiritual philosophies based on the Veda, is also a 5000+ year old culture which is the very fabric of Indian civilization — why do the people of India allow their government to either tacitly or overtly support the destruction of the very foundations upon which India is built?

Please understand me.  I am not advocating the suppression of other religions within India (unlike Islam within islamic countries).  But let me say that if well financed Hindu organizations started going into Canadian or U.S. towns, aggressively prosyletizing to the point of creating communal disturbances and violence, there would be a hue and cry. The governments of Canada and the U.S. would find a way to shut down the prosyletizers and their organizations.  They would have no choice, otherwise there would be an outbreak of real violence and societal breakdown, which is something no democracy can allow.

    Response from Dr. David Frawley:

    Namaste Duart!

Thanks for sending out such letters. Somehow the West has repackaged aggressive missionary activity as a kind of freedom of religion. India is the main non-Christian country that allows them in. China, Indo-china, and Islamic countries do not allow them in at all.

The main reason behind such tolerance is bribery and vote banks. The Christian minority in India is wealthy and has a strong media presence.

I am off to India for six weeks.
    Best Wishes,
    Vamadeva (Dr. David Frawley)

  • Shreeman Sanjayji. NamaHte!

Good work. I admire your courage and initiative. So also the efforts and contributions of other Satjans (people).
But I would request people to stop talking about India from a foreign perspective. ‘India’ and ‘Hindoo’ are alien words. They divide Bharatmata and its people along many faultlines. Should we not give up using these? Whatever the ancestores did and wrote was for the good of the humanity and NOT somebody called Hindoo.

Secondly, the use of an extra ‘A’ at the every word leads to corruption of the origina and anglecised pronunciation. For example ‘Ram’ is the correct word NOT ‘Rama’. Concentious people should stop this practice at once, and also correct others whenever opportunity arises.

Perhaps ‘Bharat’ for the country and ‘Sanatan Dharam’ for the spirituality are best. Ohers may have better ideas.

Lastly, time has come that intellectual and ‘Karmyogis’ join hands to work for spreading the light of Bharatiy knowledge for the good of the whole humanity.

  • I am proud of you. Good work keep it up and because of you we Indians one day may reap the fruits of your hard work. I am with you and will be forwarding your sites to all my friends. Let us know what are our responsibilities in this process. We need young leaders and guides NOW.

  • sanjaychoudhry

Thanks for the good words Khan, Malathi, Duart, Nam and others.

Everybody, please hang around. I plan to turn this into a group blog, where everyone will get to contribute their views and other people will get to respond to them.

We desparately need a dharmic site that discusses issues related to national security, religions, changes in demography, south Asia, terrorism, political parties and their antics, etc. The discourse should be from a Hindu point of view, without being perverted by the familiar communist / left-liberal rubbish.

  • BHARAT MATA KI JAI !

  • Great work, Sanjay. I noticed your site in my recent referrals.

Good that you mentioned my site and book. We somehow have to bring down the goliath of dhimmi Indian media.

  • Namaste everyone!

I am happy with this blog. When I was about 5 years old (living in Canada, my birthplace & I am now 58), my father brought home a Life Magazine, which was a monthly pictorial journal. On the front of the magazine and inside were photos of a horrible famine which was gripping India at that time. For the first time in my life, I saw pictures of skeletal women holding bloated, sick babies. It was awful and I cried. I never forgot that memory. As the years passed and I matured, my inner explorations led me to India and her ancient philosophy, particularly the Vedanta. Then, I visited India, twice: once to work in Mumbai and then to spend three wonderful weeks with my spouse at Ramanasramam (the ashram of Ramana Maharshi) in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil Nadu it disturbed me to visit a development project that had been inspired by Ramana Maharshi and to find pictures of Mother Theresa side by side with pictures of Sri Ramana at the children’s school. Not that I hate Mother Theresa, but what is going on in India?

Too many of your political and cultural leaders must be totally corrupt. I can only conclude that they are weak, self-serving and sychophantic. Don’t get me wrong. I am not advocating violence. However, Indians who care for their heritage must STAND UP AND TAKE INDIA BACK.

About Gandhi. I have always admired him for his courage and wisdom. But, one thing that never sat well with me was his insistence that Krishna’s exhortation to Arjuna to fight the enemy (in the Gita) was purely metaphorical. Gandhi apparently believed that Krishna was completely opposed to any form of active, physical resistance to oppression. The fact is, Gandhi’s non-violent approach worked alright with the British who, after all, have some sense of civility and fair play. Hitler, Mao tse-Tung, Khohmani, Pol Pot, etc, would have killed Gandhi outright. And, so would have the jihadis. I think this aspect of Gandhi’s thought has weakened Hindus in general and India in particular. As for Nehru, he was a communist in spirit, a materialist and he cuckolded a British Lord, which seriously compromised his integrity as a man, a leader and an Indian. In other words, he proved that he could not be trusted. With Nehru as a parent, what kind child could the Congress Party of India be?

  • “Conversion to Modernities : The Globalisation of Christianity” by Peter van der Veer makes interesting reading. This book is available on google. Just type the title and you will get the book on google. The introduction of the book and the Chapter on BR Ambedkar on page 93 makes interesting reading. This chapter on BRA is written by Gauri Vishwanthan. it is big one.

Go thru this chapter carefully and throughly and you will get answers as why a indigenous Indian faith was adopted by BRA and not Abrahamic religions. There is a tendency to quote BRA out of context to gain reservation ( affirmative action) by having an Abrahamic as well as Dalit tag. Since BRA gives reasons for his Buddhist conversion, this must be highlighted.

The other controversies with Gandhi , C Rajagopalchari and others with BRA is a separate issue.

Then there is journal article in Religion Compass on BRA . Try to get this article also.

    http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/journal/120840716/abstract?CRETRY=1&SRETRY=0

  • Any study on Dalits is incomplete without BRAmbedkar. Type in google BR Ambedkar and you will get web sites misquoting BRA’s conversion. It is impossible to cite all these web sites.

Another aspect was WWII started in 1939, which made Britain fight the other way. 1941 after Pearl Harbor US entered the fray which lessened the burden on Britain

Jallianwala, Dyer …. was all before…….

  • For next 2 weeks I am promoting your site in my “BLOGS FOR BETTER INDIA” section. Just an FYI. Great posts. This is a crucial period for India and Hindus. Thanks.

  • Hi Sanjay,

Great job, keep it up!. My new and first blog is under construction and guess what is it about, almost same as yours and many others that i’m finding while surfing.
This task of reviving confidence and belief in India, Indianism and Hinduism has to be done by this generation. My conviction is India has been liberated only physically from under the British raj. The mental slavery is what needs to be abolished and young Indian minds need to be liberated from that. A sense of faith, belief, self-confidence about our religion, country, culture is what needs to be inculcated sooner than later.
Your blog is right on the money i think, and is linked to mine for future.
